    • A business card and a pen, which is adapted to detect a position-coding pattern on the business card and calculate a coordinate by means of the pattern. When activating a send box by means of the pen, a computer sends a .vcf file containing the card holder's particulars to a card recipient belonging to the pen holder. When using an optional pen, the .vcf file is sent to a recipient indicated on the keypad of a mobile phone or written on the business card in associated fields or marked in other manners. The pen communicates with a computer wirelessly, for instance via Bluetooth, mobile phone and the Internet. Additional information can be drawn on the back of the business card and be attached to the transmission, such as date and time for the next meeting, a small drawing or sketch etc.

    • A structure for temperature sensors and infrared detectors. The structure is built-up on a substrate that includes a thermistor layer, wherein the resistance of the thermistor layer is temperature dependent. The substrate also includes an electric contact layer on both sides of the thermistor layer, and the resistance of the thermistor layer is measured between the contact layers. The thermistor layer includes a monocrystalline quantum well structure that includes alternating quantum well layers and barrier layers. One or more of the bandedge energy of the barrier layers, the quantum well layer doping level, the quantum well layer thickness, and the barrier layer thickness is adapted to obtain a temperature coefficient predetermined for the structure.

The dosage vessel has bottom and side walls defining an upper mouth, at least a portion of one side wall being substantially vertical, transparent and arranged for coaction with a graduated scale, placed outside said portion. The scale is separated from the outside of the vessel portion by an air gap, whereby light rays from the scale graduations pass through the interface at the inner surface of the vessel wall when it is empty, so that the graduations are visible from the mouth of the vessel, whereas said rays are totally internally reflected when the vessel is filled with liquid above the graduation mark in question, since the liquid has a greater refraction index than air, the graduation mark thus being no longer visible from the mouth of the vessel. Metering is facilitated by the possibility of reading off the volume graduation scale from above while the liquid is being poured into the vessel and the apparatus is supported by a horizontal substructure such as a table. Metering can be executed for a large number of ungraduated dosage vessels using one and the same graduated scale. The apparatus is particularly suitable for doses of medicine.
