    • A digital broadcasting system and a data processing method are disclosed. A receiving system of the digital broadcasting system comprises a baseband processor, a management processor and a presentation processor. The baseband processor receives a broadcast signal including mobile service data and main service data, wherein the mobile service data configure a Reed-Solomon (RS) frame. The RS frame includes at least one of the mobile service data and notification messages. The notification messages are packetized in accordance with any one of a first transport protocol and a second transport protocol. The management processor decodes the notification messages from the RS frame in accordance with any one of the first transport protocol and the second transport protocol. The presentation processor directly outputs the decoded notification messages to an output unit in accordance with a channel which transmits the decoded notification messages, or outputs the decoded notification messages to the output unit only if a user selects the notification messages.

    • A method of processing a web service in a Non-Real Time (NRT) service and the broadcast receiver are disclosed herein. A method of providing an NRT service in a broadcasting receiver may include receiving first signaling information, identifying whether a service type of an NRT service is a web service based upon the first signaling information, identifying a web page type and a web page version of the NRT service and browsing the NRT service. The method may further include connecting a service signaling channel, parsing the received first signaling information, determining whether the NRT service is supported in the broadcasting receiver and consuming the web contents of the NRT service. The NRT service may include at least one of a fixed NRT service and a mobile NRT service. The first signaling information may be a data casting description table (DDT) if the NRT service is the fixed NRT service. The first signaling information may be a service map table (SMT) if the NRT service is the mobile NRT service. The DDT may include a first field identifying the NRT service and a second field identifying a type of the NRT service. The type of the web service may include at least one of a web document of text HTML and a web document of CE-HTML. The third field and the fourth field may be valid if the type of the received service is the web service based upon the second field.

    • A transmitting system, a receiving system, and a method of processing a broadcast signal are disclosed herein. The receiving system include a tuner, a demodulator, a block decoder, an RS frame decoder, and a service manager. The tuner receives a broadcast signal. Herein the broadcast signal includes mobile service data, a service map table signaling access information of the mobile service data, and a plurality of known data sequences. The mobile service data and the service map table are packetized to an RS frame. The demodulator demodulates the received broadcast signal. The block decoder turbo-decodes the mobile service data and the service map table included in the demodulated broadcast signal in block units. The RS frame decoder forming an RS frame including the turbo-decoded mobile service data and service map table, performs primary first cyclic redundancy check (CRC)-decoding and RS-decoding, and performs secondary CRC-decoding on the primarily CRC-decoded and RS-decoded RS frame. The service manager acquires source IP address information of IP datagrams of the RS frame-decoded mobile service data from the service map table.
