    • A data processing apparatus comprises at least one source processor core (110), at least two destination processor cores (120), a message handler (130) and a bus arrangement (150) providing a data communication path between the source core, the destination cores and the message handler. The message handler (130) has plurality of message-handling modules (132-1 to 132-3). At least one of the message-handling modules has a message receipt indicator that is modifiable by each of the destination processor cores to indicate that a message has been received at its destination. This message-handling module also has a transmission completion detector operable to detect, in dependence upon a message receipt indicator value that a message has been received by all of the at least two destination processor cores and to initiate transmission of an acknowledgement signal to the source processor core.

    • A data processing apparatus controls cross-triggering of diagnostic processes on a plurality of processing devices. The data processing apparatus comprises a routing module having a plurality of broadcast channels, one or more of the broadcast channels being operable to indicate the occurrence of a diagnostic event on one or more of the plurality of processing devices. The data processing apparatus also comprises an mapping module associated with a corresponding processing device. The interface module programmably asserts diagnostic event signals from the associated processing device to one or more of the plurality of broadcast channels and programmably retrieves diagnostic events signals from processing devices other than the associated processing device from one or more of the plurality of broadcast channels. The retrieved diagnostic event data is used to facilitate triggering of a diagnostic process on the associated processing device in dependence upon said retrieved diagnostic event data.

    • A shoelace protector can include a fastening member, enclosure and upper section. The fastening member can be inserted into to an eyelet of a shoe to properly support the shoelace protector. The shoelace can be strung into the fastening member and through the enclosure. The enclosure can surround the shoe lace on an exterior portion of the shoe. The shoelace can then be placed through the upper section. The upper section can provide a narrow slit such that the shoelace can be fit therethrough. Two or more shoelace protectors can be fitted into the eyelets of the shoe. The protectors can be positioned on the lower eyelets such that the bend created by the eyelet on the shoelace can be protected during use.
