    • The present invention provides a highly accurate oscillation circuit. For example, the oscillation circuit includes plural ring oscillator units RO1 and RO2 including inverter circuits IV of an odd number of stages, and an adding unit ADD that adds signals of output nodes RO—01 and RO—02 of the RO1 and RO2. It outputs an addition result of the ADD from an output node OSC_O as a clock signal, and feeds the output node OSC_O back to input nodes RO_I1 and RO_I2 of the RO1 and RO2. Thereby, for example, when each of delay times of the RO1 and RO2 disperses based on a normal distribution of standard deviation σ, the dispersion of a clock signal obtained from the OSC_O can be confined to σ/√{square root over (2)}.

    • A moving-state determining device acquires a first overhead image from a bird's-eye image obtained at first image pickup timing and acquires a second overhead image, which can be regarded as the same road surface area as that of the first overhead image, for each of moving directions assumed for the moving body from a bird's-eye image obtained at second image pickup timing different from the first image pickup timing by a predetermined time period. The device compares a degree of similarity between the first overhead image and each of a plurality of second overhead images to acquire the second overhead image with the largest similarity degree as the same road surface area as that of the first overhead image. The device acquires the moving direction and a lateral displacement amount in the moving from a coordinate conversion condition based on which the second overhead image has been obtained.

    • A hand pattern switch device recognizes a hand pattern from an image of a hand in an image pickup zone and detects a hand motion. One of controlled objects is selected based on the recognized hand pattern and/or hand motion. In accordance with the selected object, a mode of detection of operation information based on hand motion is changed. In a moved distance detecting mode, a moved distance of the hand in the zone is detected as operation information, and in a stop time detecting mode, a stop time of the hand at a stop position to which the hand has been moved in the zone is detected as operation information. The image pickup zone is at a location which is located laterally to a steering wheel and to which a driver can extend his/her arm without changing a driving posture.
