In order to prevent in this device a relative movement between the upper strand of the band and the underside of the sole of the boot, the invention provides that the band, which is supported with its upper strand in the groove of the support member, has the shape of the jacket of a frustrum, and that the groove, in which the upper strand of the band is guided, has a circular extent arched toward the tip of the ski, viewed in a top view.

摘要： A heel holder including a base plate on which is arranged a bearing block which can be pivoted laterally. A swivel head is supported in the bearing block on a transverse axle. Between the base plate and the bearing block there is provided a return spring. A locking mechanism is provided in addition, which locking mechanism holds the bearing block in its centered position. In order to hold the bearing block in the heel holder with pressure, the invention provides that the base plate carries a rectangular projection on its upper side, with which projection is associated a recess in the base of the bearing block, and that above the projection there is arranged the locking mechanism which acts through a frictional connection.

The release lever carries a first stop which cooperates with a counterstop on one of the binding housing and bearing block to limit the movement of the release lever which effects a release, and carries a second stop which, in an open position of the binding housing, engages the bearing block or a part thereon to limit swinging of the release lever in a direction toward its release position.
