摘要： The invention relates to a surgical device for guiding at least two sewing threads through the marginal area of a tissue opening which is present especially in an artery of an individual, the opening optionally having been produced by cutting. The device comprises a bar-shaped needle and thread guiding device having a needle transfer area at the proximal end of the device, a needle receiving area at the distal end of the device, and arranged thereinbetween an intermediate area for receiving the marginal area of the tissue opening. The needle transfer area, the intermediate area and the needle receiving area are rigidly interlinked. The bar-shaped needle and thread guiding device can be closed by an elongate outer member which positively surrounds the intermediate area. The outer member can be displaced in relation to the bar-shaped needle and thread guiding device in the longitudinal direction thereof, thereby releasing the intermediate area. The needle transfer area, towards the distal end of the device, and the elongate member, in the area towards the proximal end of the device, have end faces facing each other.

摘要： A clamping arrangement for clamping a cylindrical shaft of a tool in a dental handpiece includes a clamping sleeve having resilient tongues for gripping the cylindrical shaft and being capable of being moved radially outward by an adjustable plunger to release the shaft. In order to achieve a largely wear-free tool guidance, the tool shaft is held at least at its distal end of the tool in a guide bushing, which is firmly joined to the hollow shaft. The guide contains an arrangement which enables axial mobility of the plunger, prevents twisting of the plunger so as to enable transmission of the force between the plunger and a manipulator which actuates the plunger.

At least the portion of the quartz glass bulb through which the radiation produced passes is provided on its outer surface with a multiple interference filter layer; the physical layer thickness of each layer is in the range from 10 to 70 nm. 摘要： An electric fluid heating device for heating comparatively small amounts of a fluid mdium, particularly for dental purposes, is characterized in that an operable controllable semiconductor, such as a transistor, is used as the heating element. The fluid heating device includes a metallic casing provided with a fluid heating chamber having a fluid inlet and outlet. The semiconductor is seated in a recess in the casing in heat exchange relation with the chamber. A temperature responsive control circuit including a PTC resistor in heat exchange relationship with the chamber is provided for regulating the current flowing through the semiconductor and thus the heat output thereof. The casing is made in two parts to permit a damaged smiconductor to be easily removed and replaced.
