    • A fuel injection valve having an energizable actuation device and having a valve member, movable by the actuation device, that is joined to a valve closure element. The valve closure element cooperates with a valve seat surface in order to open and close the valve. Arranged downstream from the valve seat surface is an orifice disk that is configured, with a bottom part and a retaining rim projecting out therefrom, in cup- or pot-shaped fashion. The thin orifice disk made of sheet metal has, in the transition region of the bottom part to the retaining rim, protrusions which enhance the rigidity of the orifice disk. The fuel injection valve is suitable in particular for fuel injection systems of mixture-compressing spark-ignited internal combustion engines.

    • A fuel injection valve for a fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine includes a magnetic coil, an armature loadable by the magnetic coil against a resetting spring in the lifting direction, and a valve needle connected to a valve closing member. The armature is movable between a first stop connected to the valve needle and limiting the movement of the armature in the lifting direction and a second stop connected to the valve needle and limiting the movement of the armature against the lifting direction. A damping spring, which may be a cup spring, is provided between the second stop and the armature.

    • A fuel injection valve for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines, includes components that can be manufactured in an inexpensive and simple manner. The valve needle movable along a longitudinal valve axis is formed by a thin wire, which represents the downstream elongated extension of a helical restoring spring. The valve needle engages in a sealing element, which is coupled to a valve seat body having a fixed valve seat. The valve needle and the sealing element are arranged with respect to the valve seat so that the wire transmits pressure forces to the sealing element in the closed position. The fuel injection valve is suited for use in fuel injection systems of compressed mixture, externally ignited internal combustion engines.

    • A device for the injection of a fuel/gas mixture is particularly simple and cost-effective for gas containment of fuel emerging from an injection valve. For this purpose, a treatment attachment is provided at the downstream end of the injection valve, the treatment attachment including at least a gas containment part and an insert body which are fixedly connected to one another. The treatment attachment is fixedly connected to the injection valve by means of a casing portion of the bowl-shaped gas containment part, while a bottom portion of the gas containment part has material of the insert body at least partially injection-molded around it. Inside the insert body extends an orifice which at least partially widens conically in the downstream direction and in which, for example, a jet divider is arranged. The device is particularly suitable for injection into the suction pipe of a mixture-compressing spark-ignition internal combustion engine.

    • An electromagnetically operated injection valve including a return spring having upper and lower ends, the upper and lower spring ends are bent to extend axially and parallel with a valve's longitudinal axis. The upper end of the spring engages a recess of a fixed setting bushing, and the lower end engage in a recess of a needle sleeve so as to prevent twisting. Due to the position of a valve seat body relative to the valve closing member the same angle is maintained throughout the life of the assembly, the adaptation process of both components is reduced to a single running-in phase. The new injection valve is particularly suitable as an injection valve for fuel injection units of mixture compressing spark ignited internal combustion engines.
