摘要： An image forming apparatus has a sheet processing unit for feeding a cover sheet and a folder for folding the cover sheet with a bundle of recording sheets. The sheet processing unit has a cover sheet feeder for feeding a cover sheet facing upward toward an image forming unit, a reversing unit for reversing the cover sheet so that the cover sheet faces downward, and a conveyor for conveying the reversed cover sheet to the folder in a switchback manner so that the front face of the cover sheet faces the folding roller pair. The folder has a thrusting member for thrusting the bundle of sheets toward the folding roller pair and discharging the folded bundle to a discharge tray.

摘要： An image forming apparatus has a sheet processing unit for feeding a cover sheet and a folder for folding the cover sheet with a bundle of recording sheets. When the control unit executes a first mode in (e.g. copies>1) which the second copying operation is performed following the first copying operation, the feeding unit feeds the originals while maintaining a first constant distance between a leading end of a preceding original and a leading end of a succeeding original, and wherein, when the control unit executes a second mode (e.g. copies=1) in which only the first copying operation is performed, the feeding unit feeds the originals while maintaining a second constant distance between a trailing end of a preceding original and a leading end of a succeeding original.

摘要： A color signal processing device for processing a carrier chrominance signal is arranged to produce a first sampling signal by sampling the carrier chrominance signal according to a sampling clock signal synchronized with a reference phase of the carrier chrominance signal and a second sampling signal which is of a sampling phase opposite to that of the first sampling signal and to form baseband signals conforming to a color signal by using the first and second sampling signals. This arrangement enables the device to process the color signal without causing any signal deterioration that tends to result from DC fluctuations of the carrier chrominance signal.
