    • A multiphase DC/DC converter with voltage-mode hysteretic control and instantaneous current sharing functionality method and circuit. The disclosed method and circuit provides independent output voltage regulation and phases current regulation for the converter in two separate loops; one of which is concerned with voltage regulation preferably hysteretic regulation and the other which is concerned with phase current regulation. In one embodiment, each phase in the DC/DC converter is driven by a frequency divided signal derived directly from the output voltage ripple so that each phase has a switching frequency equal to the output voltage ripple frequency divided by the number of paralleled phase. In another embodiment, only the phase that carries the smallest current among a set of phases will be turned ON in each switching cycle to supply power to the output, avoiding multiple switching. Current sharing and regulation is achieved without shortening the ON time and with no multiple switching in any cycle.

    • The present disclosure discloses a transparency-based image processing method, device, and terminal. The method includes steps of: acquiring first simulated pixel information representing a first pixel, and acquiring first transparency information; acquiring second simulated pixel information representing a second pixel, and acquiring second transparency information; calculating third simulated pixel information representing a third pixel as a sum of a product of the first simulated pixel information times the first transparency information and a product of the second simulated pixel information times the second transparency information; and acquiring a third actual pixel by narrowing the third simulated pixel information. Compared with an existing fixed-point-number method, the present disclosure reduces prior six integer multiplications and three integer additions to two integer multiplications and one integer addition, such that efficiency in operating the method may be enhanced; compared with an existing method by looking up a table, the transparency-based image processing method provided by the present disclosure does not require traversing any 2D-array table or occupying more memory.

    • A flyback controller generates a switching signal for controlling delivery of current into a primary winding of a transformer in a flyback converter. The controller may include an output current monitoring circuit configured to generate a signal representative of an average output current in a secondary winding of the transformer based on a peak input current in the primary winding and a duty cycle of current in the secondary winding. The flyback controller may generate a switching signal that causes a chopped AC voltage from a dimmer control to be converted by the flyback converter into an average output current from a secondary winding of the transformer that is DC isolated from the chopped AC voltage and that varies as a function of the setting of the dimmer control. The flyback controller may not utilize a signal from an opto-isolator.

    • A flyback controller-may include a dimmer input configured to receive a chopped and rectified AC voltage. Each cycle of the signal may have an off period which is substantially attenuated but not always zero due to leakage of a dimmer control from which the chopped AC voltage originates, and an on period which substantially tracks the AC voltage. The ratio of the off period to the on period may be dependent upon a setting of the dimmer control. The flyback controller may include a control circuit configured to generate a switching signal based on the signal from the dimmer input. The switching signal may controllably oscillate between its on and off states during the on periods of the chopped and rectified AC voltage so as to controllably regulate current that is delivered by a secondary winding of a transformer in a flyback converter. The switching signal may be in the on state during the off periods of the chopped and rectified AC voltage, thereby preventing a voltage build up from the dimmer control leakage.
