摘要： A method of shutting down a fuel cell system includes a first step of supplying hydrogen gas and air to a fuel cell stack to thereby cause the fuel cell stack to generate electricity, and a second step of stopping supply of the hydrogen gas, and then supplying air to the fuel cell stack so as to cause the fuel cell stack to generate electricity upon detection of a command to shut down the fuel cell stack. In the second step, when the pressure of the hydrogen gas is lowered to a preset lower-limit value based on an anode pressure, which actually is measured, the fuel cell stack is caused to stop generating electricity.

摘要： Disclosed is a fuel cell system which includes a fuel cell having an anode and a cathode and for producing electricity through reaction between the fuel gas and the oxidant gas, a fuel gas supply path through which the fuel gas passes, an oxidant gas supply path through which the oxidant gas passes, a voltage sensing device for detecting voltage produced by the fuel cell during power generation, and a decision device for determining whether or not cross leakage occurs between the anode and the cathode of the fuel cell, based on voltage information sent from the voltage sensing device. Moreover, the decision device determines that the cross leakage occurs between the anode and the cathode, if the voltage produced by the fuel cell is less than a predetermined value during the power generation.

摘要： An oxygen-containing gas supply device of a fuel cell system is equipped with an oxygen-containing gas supply flow passage that communicates with an oxygen-containing gas inlet of a fuel cell. An oxygen-containing gas discharge flow passage communicates with an oxygen-containing gas outlet of the fuel cell. A compressor is disposed in the oxygen-containing gas supply flow passage and a supply flow passage sealing valve is disposed downstream from the compressor in the oxygen-containing gas supply flow passage. A discharge flow passage sealing valve is disposed in the oxygen-containing gas discharge flow passage, and a discharge fluid circulation flow passage that communicates with the oxygen-containing gas discharge flow passage is disposed at a location upstream from the discharge flow passage sealing valve, while also communicating with the oxygen-containing gas supply flow passage at a location upstream from the compressor.

Moreover, the decision device determines that the cross leakage occurs between the anode and the cathode, if the voltage produced by the fuel cell is less than a predetermined value during the power generation.

摘要： A fuel cell system includes a replacing unit for replacing a gas remaining in the anode of the fuel cell with the anode gas supplied anew by the anode gas supply unit when starting up the fuel cell. The amount of the anode gas is set to be lower, if the operation condition determining unit determines that the last operation was performed in a low-temperature and short-time operation mode. The operation condition determining unit sets the amount of the anode gas so that the gas remaining in the anode can be replaced with the anode gas with an entire anode capacity if the anode was been scavenged while no electro-chemical reaction was progressing in the fuel cell. The present invention can set the amount of anode gas appropriately when starting up the fuel cell.

A flow rate controller 8 is provided in the position between the air compressor 4 and the fuel cell 1 of the air supply line 6. The control unit CU is connected to the air supply line 6, and set the openings of the flow rate controller 8 as temporally wide, and a flow rate of the air supplied to the fuel cell is increased for a predetermined period of time. Then, set the opening of the flow rate controller 8 as gradually narrow, and the flow rate of the air supplied to the fuel cell is decreased gradually.
