The moving mechanism holds the tape cartridge and moves up and down in the transferring space. The delivering mechanism delivers the tape cartridge between the first and second magazines and the moving mechanism. The moving mechanism performs installing of the tape cartridge against the recording and reproducing mechanism arranged at a location near the lower part of the transferring space.
