摘要： A radially-sealing ring has a sealing element of a non-elastomeric plastic, preferably of PTFE, planar, annular disk having plane-parallel surfaces held at its outer circumference in a stiffening ring and cold flexed in the axial direction to form a cuff at its inner circumference which engages the shaft with bias. The disk has a thickness of from 0.3 to 0.8 mm and an inside diameter approximately 1.5 to 7 times its thickness less than the diameter of the shaft. The distance between the shaft and the line about stiffening ring where the disk is held is 2 to 7 times as great as the thickness of the disk. The radially-sealing ring is preferably for sealing the crankshaft of a two-cycle engine.

摘要： A radial shaft sealing ring is disclosed which comprises a lip ring having a sealing lip which is resiliently pressed against the shaft to be sealed. The lip ring has a conical inner surface which surrounds the shaft and faces the liquid to be sealed off. A plurality of liquid deflectors are associated with the lip ring on the side of the sealing lip facing the sealed off liquid. The liquid deflectors are spaced apart around the circumferential periphery of the shaft. The liquid deflector have a leading surface which is essentially parallel to the axis of the shaft and which is inclined or curved forward toward the direction of shaft rotation. The inner edge of the liquid deflectors is a knife-edge like wiper which merges into the inclined or curved leading surface and which is spaced from the peripheral surface of the shaft. The ratio of the distance that the inner wiper edge extends substantially parallel to the axial direction of the shaft to the distance adjacent wiper inner edges are spaced apart around the circumferential periphery of the shaft is about 4.0 to 50.

The castor comprises a hollow body, a cap insert provided with an aperture and adapted to close off an opening in the body apart from the aperture in the cap insert. The cap insert rotatably supports a cover slide provided with a sieve plate having a plurality of differently apertured regions which -- on rotation of the slide -- can be selectably positioned over the aperture in the cap insert. The slide is provided with a sleeve structure connected to the sieve plate and having a plurality of sleeve elements each encompassing a respective one of the apertured regions in the sieve plate. Each sleeve element extends substantially perpendicularly from the side of the sieve plate remote from the cap insert to contact the underside of a lid on the latter being received by the castor.

摘要： A manufacturing method provides a semiconductor device with a substrate layer and an epitaxial layer adjoining the substrate layer. The epitaxial layer includes first columns and second columns of different conductivity types. The first and second columns extend along a main crystal direction along which channeling of implanted ions occurs from a first surface into the epitaxial layer. A vertical dopant profile of one of the first and second columns includes first portions separated by second portions. In the first portions a dopant concentration varies by at most 30%. In the second portions the dopant concentration is lower than in the first portions. The ratio of a total length of the first portions to the total length of the first and second portions is at least 50%. The uniform dopant profiles improve device characteristics.
