摘要： A storage device that hangs from a rod, rope, cable or other support member which employs tension force to hold apparel belts with prongs and buckles, or other linear items that have holding elements (rings, buckles, fabric loops or holes), to the surface of a hollow body which rotates around the shaft of the hanging hook. This is done by latching the belts or linear items to the device using eyelets, clasps, clips or closeable hooks (e.g. carabiner spring hooks or reversible wire gates or closeable rings). This device stores linear items in a space-efficient way when a plurality of items attached are hung, allows better organizing and viewing of the items stored, even in a crowded space. In addition it securely attaches the items stored to the attachment mechanism and allows retrieval of items easily without the need to remove the whole device from the support member.

摘要： A robotic sensing and touch apparatus detects gradual deformations in a resilient surface, in contrast to conventional rigid member displacement. Hall effect sensors coupled to rare-earth magnets in a deformable base allow sensing of surface curvature and compression against grasped objects. The deformable base, such as a silicone mold or other resilient encapsulation, fixes a magnetic source and an opposed Hall effect sensor. Calibration of a received magnetic field is defined by a sensor element voltage in an “at rest” (undeformed) state, and at successive degrees of deformation resulting from compression of the deformable base that draws the magnet in different orientations relative to the Hall effect sensor. An array of magnet and sensor element pairs allows relative sensing over an area for detecting curvature of a translated or articulated member, or engagement with a curved surface.

For example, a user logs onto a web site to provide a phone number of the mobile phone device. An application server receives notification of the request and generates a text-message to the application on the mobile phone device to initiate activation of the application. In response to receiving the text-message, the application on the mobile phone device initiates retrieval of appropriate configuration information associated with the user from the application server.
