摘要： A wheel rim displacement measuring apparatus which measures radial and axial displacements of a rim wall on the basis of a nut seat pitch circle. A wheel to be measured is mounted on a lower head on the basis of a hub hole center and rotated about an axis of the lower head. An upper spindle which is horizontally displaceable relative to the lower head is adjusted in position so as to align with a nut seat pitch circle center of the wheel and is rotated about the axis of the lower head. A Fourier analysis is carried on a wave of the displacements of the upper spindle so that an eccentricity amount of the nut seat pitch circle center from the hub hole center of the wheel can be calculated from the first harmonic. In a computer, a wave of the displacements of the rim wall measured on the basis of the hub hole center is amended in calculation to a wave of the displacements of the rim wall from a true circle having a center at the nut seat pitch circle using the first harmonic wave.

摘要： A flaring apparatus including at least one of die member positional adjustment apparatus and a defective rim element ejecting apparatus. The positional adjustment apparatus includes a connecting shaft provided between a die member mounting block and a link mechanism for moving the mounting block. The connecting shaft has shaft portions, axes of which are radially offset from each other. By rotating the connecting shaft, the die member position can be adjusted. Therefore, there is no need to provide a shim between the die member and the mounting block. The defective rim element ejecting apparatus includes a pressure sensing switch which can detect an increase in pressure within a space defined by a rim element and the die members during flaring. When the pressure sensing switch does not detect a predetermined increase in the pressure of the space, for example, when the rim is cracked, a conveyor path device opens and the defective rim element will drop into an ejecting duct thereby ejecting the defective rim element from the manufacturing line.

The pigment of the present invention is an iron oxide-coated layered silicate pigment comprising a layered-silicate plate particle as base, and an iron oxide coated on the plate particle; wherein the iron oxide does not coat the surface portion of the plate particle or the iron oxide is localized on the edge portion rather than the surface portion of the plate particle. As the iron oxide, at least one kind selected from black iron oxide (Fe3O4) and red iron oxide (Fe2O3) can be used preferably. As the layered silicate, a mica-group layered silicate can be used preferably. The iron oxide-coated layered silicate pigment of the present invention can be incorporated into cosmetic preferably.

摘要： A crawler device includes a wheel support, wheels respectively rotatably supported thereto, and a crawler belt run around the wheels. Each of the wheels includes a rigid wheel body and an elastic material exterior part fixed to an outer periphery of the wheel body. Raised portions are formed in an outer periphery of the exterior part to continuously extend in a width direction and be arranged in a circumferential direction spaced from each other. Drain grooves extending through the exterior part in the width direction are formed between the raised portions. Top surfaces of the raised portions of the exterior part surface contact an inner peripheral surface of the crawler belt with a frictional force working therebetween. Restriction members stopping opposite side edges of the crawler belt are provided in the wheel support to restrict the crawler belt from being displaced with respect to the wheels in the width direction.
