    • In some examples, a method may include receiving a continuous query, the continuous query being identified based at least in part on an archived relation associated with an application. The method may also include generating a physical query plan for the continuous query. In some examples, the method may also include identifying a query operator in the physical query plan and/or constructing an archiver query for the identified query operator. In some aspects, the method may also include executing the archiver query to obtain a result set of data records related to the application and/or initializing a state of the query operator based at least in part on the result set of data records. Further, the method may also include generating a snapshot output of one or more data values related to the application based at least in part on the state of the identified query operator.

    • A method and system for converting XML files to and from files in a data format based on hierarchies in real-time. A method for converting from XML to the data format based on hierarchies includes: applying a stylesheet to at least one XML file thereby generating at least one data record in an intermediate format and including information included in the at least one XML file; and, translating the at least one record in the intermediate format to the data format based on hierarchies. A method for converting from a data format based on hierarchies to XML includes: translating at least one record including information stored in the file format based on hierarchies to an intermediate format; and, applying a stylesheet to the at least one record in the intermediate format thereby generating at least one XML file being indicative of the information and suitable for transmission.

The data stream management system configured to execute a continuous query against data items received via at least one input data stream to generate at least one output data stream. The continuous query result estimator comprises a classification module configured to classify a set of at least one data item received via the at least one input data stream into one of a plurality of input data group. A data store configured to store a respective rule for estimating a result of executing the continuous query against a data item belonging to the input data group.     • A method of responding to requests using stream processing can include receiving a server request from a server, wherein the server is configured to generate the server request responsive to a client request, and generating a request identifier associated with the server request. The method can include, responsive to the server request, sending a stream processing request derived from the server request to a first stream processing node. The stream processing request can include the request identifier. Responsive to receiving a create response message including a stream processing result and the request identifier from a second stream processing node, the stream processing result can be correlated with the server request. A write response message specifying the stream processing result can be sent to the server.

    • A system, method and computer readable medium for indexing streaming data. Data may be received from distributed devices connected via a network. Data elements may be stored and allocated to data blocks and events of the block stores. Non-text data may be converted into a text representation. The data may be split into terms, and term frequencies of each term within each of the event may be calculated. Block-level term frequency statics may be calculated based on the term frequencies. Tree index structures, such as the Y-tree index, may be generated based on the block-level term frequency data. The Y-tree index structures may use the terms as keys and pointers to the corresponding data blocks and block-level term frequency data. A search query may be performed over the tree index structures.
