    • A switching control circuit having a synchronous input for the synchronization of power converters is provided. It includes a synchronous input circuit for receiving a synchronous input signal. An oscillation circuit is connected to the synchronous input circuit for generating an oscillation signal in response to the synchronous input signal. A signal converter is coupled to receive a feedback signal of the power converter for modulating the oscillation signal in response to the feedback signal for achieving power savings. The oscillation signal is connected for enabling the switching signal of the power converter. The switching signal can be synchronized with the synchronous input signal immediately after the synchronous input signal is inputted. Otherwise, the switching signal will be running free.

    • A switching regulator includes a switching device to switch a transformer from a primary-side to secondary side. A control circuit generates a switching signal for regulating output of the switching regulator. The control circuit includes a first circuit to generate a first signal and a timing signal by measuring a reflected signal of the transformer. A second circuit produces a second signal by integrating a current signal with the timing signal. The current signal represents a primary-side switching current of the transformer. A first feedback circuit produces a first feedback signal in response to the first signal and the reference signal, in which the reference signal is varied in response to the change of the second signal. Furthermore, a second feedback circuit generates a second feedback signal in response to the second signal. A switching control circuit generates the switching signal in response to the feedback signals.

    • The present invention provides a control circuit for multi-channels power converter to save power at light load. The control circuit comprises a modulation circuit and an oscillation circuit to modulate the switching frequency of switching signals for power saving. The modulation circuit generates a modulation signal in response to a first feedback signal and a second feedback signal. The oscillation circuit is coupled to the modulation circuit to control a switching frequency of switching signals in accordance with the modulation signal. The switching frequency of the first switching signal can be linearly decreased in response to the decrease of the load when the second switching signal is enabled. The first switching signal can be busted for further power saving once the second switching signal is disabled.

    • A bleeding resistor is required to discharge EMI filter of the power converter for the safety purpose. In order to save power and reduce device count, the present invention further uses this bleeding resistor for both start-up and feedforward compensation. It includes an input terminal for connecting the bleeding resistor. A voltage divider is connected to the input terminal. A sample-and-hold circuit samples and holds a voltage signal from the voltage divider. After that, a low-pass filter is connected to the sample-and-hold circuit to generate an offset signal in accordance with the voltage signal. The offset signal is connected to a limit circuit to generate a limit signal that limits the switching current of the power converter.
