    • A radial piston pump for supplying fuel at high-pressure to an internal combustion engine has a compression chamber arranged in a displacement housing, a reciprocating piston arranged in a cylinder chamber, a suction valve connected to a fuel supply line and has a spring-loaded closure body, an intermediate piece, a threaded pin and a pressure valve which is connected to a fuel outlet line. The closing body of the suction valve is embodied as a valve end pad with the spring exerting a force on the front end thereof. The valve end pad has a closure collar and at least two channels that are distributed around the periphery and which adjoin the closure collar and a base plate. A stop plate comprising an additional base plate borders the closure collar of the valve end pad as an intermediate piece to which the threaded pin is connected.

    • A pump of an electronically controlled brake system. The pump includes a bore formed in a modulator block and connected with a suction port and a discharge port, a piston installed in the bore in a reciprocating movable manner and defining an inlet path therein, an inlet valve to open or close an exit-side end of the inlet path according to a position of the piston, and an outlet valve provided at one side of the bore, operations of the inlet and outlet valves being contrary to each other. The outlet valve includes a valve seat, a sleeve to surround the valve seat, an outlet ball interposed between the sleeve and the valve seat and used to open or close a path defined in the valve seat, and a valve cap provided at one side of the sleeve to isolate an interior from an exterior of the bore. One or more of the valve sheet, sleeve, and valve cap are formed by press-forming, to achieve improved assembly efficiency and reduced manufacturing costs.

    • A high-pressure pump has at least one pump element, with a pump piston which is guided displaceably in a cylinder bore of a housing part of the high-pressure pump and is driven in a reciprocating motion and defines a pump work chamber in the cylinder bore, into which chamber fuel is aspirated via an inlet valve in the intake stroke of the pump piston. The inlet valve has a pistonlike valve member, which with a sealing face cooperates with a valve seat for controlling the communication of the pump work chamber with the fuel inlet. The valve member is disposed with a head, on which the sealing face is embodied, in the pump work chamber and protrudes out of the pump work chamber with a shaft adjoining the head. The valve seat is formed in the housing part at a transition from the cylinder bore to a bore of smaller diameter adjoining the cylinder bore. With its shaft, the valve member protrudes through the bore into a region of the housing part remote from the pump work chamber, in which region a closing spring is disposed that engages the shaft of the valve member.

    • In a high pressure fuel supply pump, a housing is provided with a through-hole having a step. A plunger is slidably accommodated in the through-hole on an axial end side thereof. An intake valve member is positioned in the through-hole on an axially opposite side to the plunger with respect to the step so that a pump chamber is formed between the plunger and the intake valve member. A discharge valve member is positioned in the through-hole on an axially opposite side to the plunger with respect to the intake valve member. A plug is screw fastened into an inner wall of the through-hole on another axial end thereof so as to urge both of the discharge valve member and the intake valve member against the step so that the intake valve member and the discharge valve member are rigidly fixed in the through-hole.
