    • A pressure sensor includes a detecting circuit configured to detect the difference between outputs from a first pressure variation sensor and a second pressure variation sensor.     • In a voltage regulator having: a reference voltage generation circuit which generates a reference voltage; an amplifier which amplifies and outputs a difference between the reference voltage and a divided voltage obtained by dividing a voltage output from an output transistor and controls a gate of the output transistor; an external terminal which receives a signal which externally turns on/off a circuit; and a start-up circuit which transmits the reference voltage to the amplifier, the improvement including: a voltage detection circuit which detects the voltage output from the output transistor; and a switch circuit which is connected to the start-up circuit and interrupts a current which flows through the start-up circuit in response to a signal from the voltage detection circuit.

    • Provided is a reference voltage generator having flat temperature characteristics. The reference voltage generator includes: a depletion mode MOS transistor (10) of a first conductivity type, which is connected to function as a current source and allows a constant current to flow; and an enhancement mode MOS transistor (20) of the first conductivity type, which has a diode connection, has a mobility substantially equal to a mobility of the depletion mode MOS transistor (10), and generates a reference voltage (VREF) based on the constant current. The depletion mode NMOS transistor (10) and the enhancement mode NMOS transistor (20) have substantially equal mobilities, and thus have substantially equal temperature characteristics so that the temperature characteristics of the reference voltage (VREF) become flat.
