摘要： The present invention relates to a composite article and to a process for manufacturing the composite article. The composite article comprises multiple layers including high tenacity fibers incorporated into a fabric and a core thermoplastic resin. The fabric may be coated with a surface treatment agent, a polymer matrix resin. Single or multiple layers of the composite articles may be formed into a composite part having high strength, rigidity, fast molding cycle time and extremely good conformability in a 3-dimensional mold. The composite parts formed by this process have high part strength in all directions.

摘要： Continuous or continual in-line processes for forming adhesive polymer blend compositions are described, as well as the application of those blends to a variety of substrates. In one or more embodiments, a first polymer component is provided in a first vessel, and a second polymer component is provided in a second vessel. The first polymer component comprises one or more styrenic block copolymers and one or more hydrocarbon tackifier resins, and the second polymer component comprises a polyolefin. The first and second polymer components are extracted from their respective holding vessels, mixed, and applied to a substrate. In some embodiments, the first and second polymer components may further comprise various additives. Adhesive blend compositions formed from the inventive processes are also described.

Bonded structures formed of such self-bonding compositions and a substrate having a surface bonded thereto are also described herein along with a method for bonding a self-bonding curable fluoroelastomer composition to a substrate surface. The fluoroelastomers herein may encompass both non-fully fluorinated (FKM) and fully fluorinated (FFKM) elastomers.
