摘要： Markers for mounting objects such as picture frames, mirrors, shelves and the like, to desired locations on a wall type surface without causing unnecessary holes to the wall surface. The markers can include target patches with target indicia such as crossed hairs, and bulls-eye patterns. The target patches can have a first adhesive side that is temporarily placed on mounting locations on the rear side of the object. The object with the target patches then is oriented and positioned to a desired optimum location on the wall and then pressed against the wall. Another adhesive side of the target patch that is stronger in adhesion than the first side allows for the target patch to transfer to the wall surface and remain on the wall surface. Nail type fasteners, and the like, then are attached by the location of the target indicia into the wall. Next the object is placed and mounted to the wall mounted fasteners so that the object can then hang from the wall mounted fasteners. The markers can also be used for mounting objects on horizontal surfaces, such as but not limited to floors, tabletops, desk tops, and countertops, and the like.

摘要： A fastening device is provided for hanging a picture or other wall object on a wall. The fastening device includes a clear, flexible, non-resilient carrier having at least two mounting hooks in parallel alignment which are secured to the carrier for engaging wire mounting means on the back of the picture or wall object. This permits the device to be used on irregularly shaped or curved walls or walls with imperfections. Alignment grooves may be provided at opposite ends of the carrier to facilitate proper alignment of the carrier on the wall. Affixation means in the form of either a nail or adhesive mounts are provided for affixing the carrier to the wall. A leveling device, preferably a bubble level, may be included in the carrier. A companion method for hanging the picture or other wall object on a wall using the subject fastening device is further provided. The leveling device may be removably attached to the carrier by means of a snap or compression fit within a concavity or depression in the carrier to thereby allow repeated uses of the same leveling device.

摘要： The wall hanger of the present invention is designed to minimize the damage done to a wall when hung thereon. The wall hanger has a plurality of narrow bores angling generally downward through which pleating pins may be inserted to anchor the wall hanger. The wall hanger additionally has a support member from which may be hung an object. The bores and support member are configured to maximize a proportion of gravitational stress transferred to the wall to relieve stress on the pins. A pilot tool is also disclosed that starts a hole in the wall through the bores in the hanger and then is used to push a pin through the bore, into the pretapped hole in the wall, and further into the wall until its head is flush with the hanger. A kit is provided that consists of a wall hanger and a mounting tool. In addition, a method is provided for mounting a wall hanger to a wall.

摘要： An elongated strip of connected picture hangers adapted to be coiled around a feeding reel and fed into an assembly machine for further processing and for automatic attachment of the picture hangers to the backing of picture frames, each hanger comprising substantially planar metallic body portion having a living hinge extending thereacross for allowing the hanger to be accepted by the assembly machine. A portion of the body of the hanger is cut out for receiving support means from the desired hanging location. A reinforcement rib extends along the top edge of the hanger for strengthening the picture hanger for larger and heavier type picture frames. A pair of dimpled protrusions automatically bias the picture hanger away from the picture frame backing for easier attachment of the picture hanger to the display support means. The arrangement of the above features provides for spacing means which allows for proper stacking of the picture hangers around the feeding reel.
