The preparation comprises a flexible backing, which is not permeable to an active ingredient, and an adhesive layer formed on the flexible backing, the adhesive layer comprising an adhesive base material and an active ingredient compatible with the adhesive base material, wherein the adhesive base material consists essentially of a copolymer containing 2-ethylhexyl acrylate in a concentration of 45 to 80 mol % and N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone in a concentration of 20 to 55 mol %, and the active ingredient is estradiol and/or the esters thereof which are contained in a concentration of 6 to 25% by weight of the total amount of the adhesive base material and the active ingredient.

摘要： A filtration apparatus having one or more upright tubular filter elements having a surface coated with a pre-coat layer of a filter aid through which a liquid is filtered. Different from conventional apparatuses, the filter element of the present invention is provided with a gas exhaust tube or liquid drain tube connected to the upper or lower part of the filter element, respectively. By virtue of this means, the liquid used for forming the pre-coat layer as the suspension medium can be completely discharged out of the apparatus prior to introduction of the liquid to be filtered so that the liquid in the apparatus can be switched from the pre-coat forming liquid to the filtered liquid without producing a mixture thereof, and without causing defects in the pre-coat layer.

摘要： A steel strip heated to a temperature above a recrystallization temperature is passed through a cooling unit including a plurality of cooling rollers cooled by cooling water flowing through the interior thereof. The steel strip is caused to pass alternately about upper and lower surfaces of the cooling rollers. By raising and lowering alternate cooling rollers, the contact angle and therefore the contact area, i.e., the contact time between the strip and the cooling rollers is varied to change the cooling rate. When the cooling rollers are separated from the strip. Cooling water is filled into the cooling unit to directly cool the strip. Cooling gas may be ejected against the strip before it enters into the cooling unit.

摘要： A color television signal processing apparatus is provided for reproducing a chrominance signal from a color television signal transmitted or recorded in such a manner that the chrominance signal is compressed in time scale and that the compressed chrominance signal is superposed on the horizontal blanking period signal of the color television signal in a time division manner. This apparatus includes a circuit for generating a clock pulse used for expanding the time scale of the compressed chrominance signal comprising a signal generator driven by a sample pulse derived from a reference signal in a color television signal and producing low and high frequency signals, a reset pulse generating circuit which compares a reference reset pulse derived from the reference signal with a comparison reset pulse generated from selfoscillating circuit, and a clock pulse generator driven by the output signals of the signal generator and the reset pulse generator. In this way, a correct clock pulse which may be used for expanding the compressed chrominance signal is obtained even when the reference signal in the color television signal temporarily disappears.
