摘要： A record material feed apparatus for use with a printing machine of the type including a platen and drive means for rotating the platen about its longitudinal axis. The apparatus comprises a frame capable of being attached to a printing machine adjacent the platen thereof, first and second drive shafts each rotatably mounted on the frame, and first and second drive assemblies respectively mounted on the first and second drive shafts, each drive assembly including means for engaging a marginally punched record material loaded thereon and means for feeding said record material in response to the rotation of the respective drive shaft. Further, a drive assembly is mounted on the frame and includes means for engaging the platen drive means and means responsive to such engagement and the operation of the drive means for rotating the first and second drive shafts in opposite directions. In this manner, the first and second drive assemblies are capable of respectively advancing the marginally punched record material in said opposite directions.

The web paper with the mounted cards and corresponding line marks is then processed through a computer responsive high speed line printer where the customer data is printed, the line marks serving to control the web paper advancing and stopping means of the line printer to stop the web paper with the printing lines of the cards located precisely in printing position.

摘要： Printing apparatus wherein a webbed medium is intermittently fed from print line to print line between a row of actuatable print hammers and a continuously displacing set of print characters. Between intermittent advances the webbed medium is impacted by selected ones of the print hammers to print a line thereupon, such impact being effective to engage the impacted area of the webbed medium with the continuously moving print characters, thus urging the webbed medium out of a predetermined alignment with the print hammers. Restraining means prevents such shiftable movement by immobilizing the webbed medium in opposition to the undesirable influence of the moving print characters.

摘要： An apparatus for detaching or separating completed multiply copy printed forms as they are discharged from an automatic printing or billing machine. The apparatus includes a main frame for supporting the printed forms and to which is attached a tensionapplying pair of rollers at one end and a carriage at the other. The carriage moves transversely across the main frame and severs the printed forms by pulling a cutting line therethrough as it moves across the main frame. The operation of the apparatus is synchronized with the operation of the printing machine and will route the detached form to a designated location.
