摘要： An adapter arrangement for electrically connecting an upwardly directed first contact on a horizontal printed circuit board assembly with a generally upwardly directed second contact on an electronics module mounted on the PCB assembly, including a rigid adapter housing adapted for mounting on one end of the module, which housing contains a generally vertical conductor having a lower end connected by a downwardly directed lower terminal with the PCB assembly first contact, and an upper end connected by a generally downwardly-directed upper terminal with the electronics module second contact, characterized in that the lower adapter terminal is vertical, and the upper adapter terminal is downwardly inclined by an acute angle relative to the vertical. In a second embodiment, the adapter is sectional and includes upper and lower sections. In a third embodiment, an auxiliary adapter section is connected between the upper adapter section and the electronics module.

摘要： This disclosure provides connectors for smart windows. A smart window may incorporate an optically switchable pane. In one aspect, a window unit includes an insulated glass unit including an optically switchable pane. A wire assembly may be attached to the edge of the insulated glass unit and may include wires in electrical communication with electrodes of the optically switchable pane. A floating connector may be attached to a distal end of the wire assembly. The floating connector may include a flange and a nose, with two holes in the flange for affixing the floating connector to a first frame. The nose may include a terminal face that present two exposed contacts of opposite polarity.

The system comprises a set of power distribution members that are attached to a substrate and are connected together, forming a power grid to distribute power across the substrate. The members include a number of connectors disposed at regular intervals along their lengths. Corresponding sets of cables and connectors on the substrate convey power from the members to areas on the substrate where power is desired. The substrate may be, for example, a shelving unit. The system provides a robust, flexible source of power that is easily installed with minimal training and is also easily maintained.

摘要： A connector assembly for use with dual conductor cable is disclosed. The connector assembly includes a first connector, a second connector, first and second fixture wires, and first and second connector terminals. The first and second connectors are removably attachable. The first connector includes a first connector base, two prongs extending from the first connector base, and a first connector slot for accepting the first connector terminal. The second connector includes a second connector base, two wings extending from the second connector base, and a second connector slot for accepting the second connector terminal. The wings are sized and configured to accept the two prongs when the first and second connectors are joined. The first and second connector terminals include a spike extending generally away from the base of the connector into which the terminal has been secured. The first connector terminal is secured in the first connector in electrical communication with the first fixture wire, and the second connector terminal is secured in the second connector in electrical communication with second fixture wire. The first and second connectors, when joined by the insertion of the prongs between the wings, define a central portion sized to allow the passage of the dual conductor cable to which the first and second connectors are connected. When the first and second connectors are joined with the dual connector cable located in the central portion, the spikes of the first and second terminals penetrate into the dual conductor cable, whereby the dual conductor cable is placed into electrical communication with the first and second fixture wire.
