    • A method for alkylation of at least one or more amino groups or mono-substituted amino groups, each on a carbon atom of a triazine ring of 1,3,5-triazine derivatives (melamine, melamine derivatives and various kinds of guanamine derivatives and the like), which includes reacting the 1,3,5-triazine derivatives having at least one or more amino groups or mono-substituted amino groups with alcohols in the presence of a catalyst of a metal of group VII and/or group VIII in the periodic table. The object of the invention is to provide a method for alkylation of 1,3,5-triazine derivatives, which includes alkylating amino groups or mono-substituted amino groups in carbon atoms of a 1,3,5-triazine ring, whereby substituted 1,3,5-triazine derivatives which are a group of useful compounds and which are widely used as intermediates of fine chemicals such as agricultural chemicals, medications, dye-stuffs, paints and the like, as resin materials and as flame-retardant materials can be easily produced in high yields.

    • A safe, double solenoid type electromagnetic valve which can be used as a single solenoid type electromagnetic valve and in which a main valve member does not change from one change-over position to another even when electric power is supplied to two pilot valves at the same time. A first piston is disposed at one end of the main valve member while second and third pistons are disposed at the opposite end. The first and second pistons have the same diameter while the third piston is smaller in diameter than the first two. Two solenoid mechanisms are provided for making a pilot fluid operate on the first piston as well as the second and third pistons. A change over device is also provided which is able to change over the operation from a first situation where the pilot fluid is allowed to operate on both the second and third pistons to a second situation wherein the pilot fluid is allowed to work only on the third piston.

    • The electric source control device of an internal combustion engine drive vehicle according to the present invention is characterized in that it consists of a primary battery (1) and a secondary battery (2) which are mounted on the internal combustion engine drive vehicle, which are provided with a common terminal (3) of (+) polarity and two independent terminals (4, 5) of (-) polarity and which supply an engine starter and loads with electricity, and a control circuit in which when an engine switch (9) is not connected with the starting point the terminal (4) of (-) polarity of the primary battery (1) is disconnected from that (5) of the secondary battery (2) to make only one of both the batteries and in which when the engine switch (9) is connected with the starting point both the batteries (1, 2) supply the engine starter (6) and the loads in parallel with electricity, either of the terminals (4, 5) of (-) polarity of both the batteries (1, 2) being connected with the terminals of (+) polarity of the engine starter and the loads alternately.
