    • A picture convert apparatus of the present invention includes a first element which inputs a first picture data and produces a second picture data consisting of a first black area, a second black area and an area consisting of the reduced number of lines of the first picture; a second element which enlarges the second picture; and a third element which display the enlarged picture. A method of the present invention for converting a first picture data to a second picture data, includes: producing a first black area; reducing the line number of the first picture data to a predetermined line number; producing a second black area; forming the first black area, the reduced numbers of lines and the second black area to a frame; enlarging the frame; and displaying the enlarged frame on a display.

    • An RF device includes a first substrate having a lower relative dielectric constant, a first RF circuit for a lower frequency band provided in the first substrate, a second substrate having a higher relative dielectric constant larger than the lower relative dielectric constant, and a second RF circuit for a higher frequency band having a part of the second RF circuit sandwiched between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first RF circuit and the second RF circuit are connected to each other and the second substrate is partially overlaid on the first substrate. A semiconductor device or passive device is provided on a region in the surface of the first substrate on which the second substrate is not overlaid, and a multilayered wiring pattern made of copper or silver is formed in the first substrate to form the first RF circuit.

    • A dielectric resonator includes a pair of dielectric substrates opposed to each other and resonator electrodes disposed between the pair of dielectric substrates. The resonator electrodes are disposed so as to be brought into contact with major surfaces of the pair of dielectric substrates, and a bonding layer is disposed around the resonator electrodes so as to bond the pair of dielectric substrates. The pair of dielectric substrates have been sintered in advance at sufficiently high temperature which is a dielectric having an fQ value at 1 GHz in the range of 3×103 to 1×105, and then achieve a high Q value as a filter. The pair of the substrates are provided with a surface roughness of a range of 0.1 to 2.0 μm, and flatness of 10 μm or less between both ends thereof to bring the resonant electrodes in close contact with the surfaces of the substrate. Such ceramic filters are used comfortably for a filter connecting a transmit-receive antenna to a transmitter and receiver, which can provide communication equipment having a good high frequency performance for cellular telephone systems.

    • A high-frequency filter device includes at least one filter to be connected to a high-frequency stage of a wireless apparatus. The filter includes a voltage-controlled variable frequency resonance element which is made of a resonance element and a voltage-controlled variable impedance element electrically connected to the resonance element. The high-frequency filter device includes a control section for controlling a voltage applied to the variable impedance element, and a signal monitoring section for outputting a control signal, with which the voltage is controlled, to the control section based on frequency data as to an oscillating frequency of a local oscillator of the wireless apparatus. The signal monitoring section controls a band frequency of the at least one filter based on the frequency data in such a manner that the band frequency is adaptively changed.
