    • Disclosed is a polyamide resin composition comprising a melt-kneaded product of (A) a polyamide; (B) a polyphenylene ether; (C) a styrene polymer; and (D) a compound having in a molecule thereof a carbon-to-carbon double bond and at least one functional group selected from a carboxylic acid group, an acid anhydride group, an epoxy group, an amino group and a hydroxyl group, wherein the polyamide (A) is present as a continuous phase in which the polyphenylene ether (B) and the styrene polymer (C) are dispersed individually, independently or in mixture thereof to form a dispersion phase having an average particle diameter of 5 .mu.m or less, and wherein the (B)/(C) weight ratio is from 20/80 to 70/30, and the styrene polymer (C) in the melt-kneaded product has a reduced viscosity of 0.70 dl/g or more. The polyamide resin composition has not only excellent mechanical properties, heat resistance, molding processability, light stability, weatherability and good appearance of a shaped resin article produced therefrom, but also high resistance to a dimensional change and to a lowering of stiffness when exposed to water, and high chemical resistance. The polyamide resin composition is useful for producing various shaped resin articles, such as exterior and interior parts of automobiles, electronic parts, electric parts, civil engineering materials and construction materials.

    • The invention provides a cleaning method comprising:a step of immersing the object of cleaning first in a first tank to wash roughly by bubbling from beneath, and showering with purified water from above when lifting the object,a step of immersing the object coming from the first tank in a second tank to wash preliminarily with ultrasonic waves, and showering with purified water from above when lifting the object,a step of immersing the object coming from the first tank or second tank successively in a third tank to wash thoroughly with ultrasonic waves and water jet, and showering with purified water from above when lifting the object, anda step of immersing the object coming from the third tank finally into a fourth tank to finish with water jet, and lifting. In this cleaning method, only purified water harmless to human and environment is used as cleaning fluid, and the same cleanliness as in conventional cleaning with chlorofluorocarbons or trichloroethane is obtained, while there is no side effect such as discoloring of work surface.

    • Disposed before and behind stationary contacts 6U and 6L are one pair each of roller contacts 5FM and 5FH, and 5BM and 5BH which are supported collectively at the upper and lower ends thereof by bridge links 4FU and 4FL, and 4BU and 4BL. These paired upper and lower bridge links are then supported by either of support shafts 3F and 3B respectively. The support shafts 3F and 3B for these two pairs of roller contacts and bridge links are supported by a pair of guide shafts 2U and 2L. The guide shafts are loosely engaged with a drive arm 1 and contacting pressure springs 7U and 7L are fitted between the two support shafts.

    • An IC test instrument has an IC test circuit for an integrated semiconductor chip. A probe card is coupled to the IC test circuit. Probe needles are disposed on the probe card. The probe needles comprise a cobalt-based alloy containing at least 10 weight-percent of chromium. A passive-state film comprised of chromium oxide is formed on one end of the probe needles, and a solder-enhancing metallic layer is formed on the other end of the probe needles. The passive-state film may be formed by electrolytic polishing or chemical solution immersion. The passive-state film prevents a contaminating substance, such as aluminum oxide, from adhering to the needle. The probe needle substrate may be bent and may be formed by wiredrawing a cobalt-based alloy.
