    • A device for securing the stationary jaw to the frame of a jaw crusher is disclosed. The device includes a crusher frame having top and bottom spaced apart cross members, a stationary jaw, and a threaded draw rod having a pair of inwardly moveable wedge members. The stationary jaw includes a top edge, a bottom edge, and a pair of interconnecting sides, and further includes a top lug adjacent the top edge and a bottom lug adjacent the bottom edge. The top lug is adapted for placement adjacent the frame top cross member, and the bottom lug is adapted for placement adjacent the frame bottom cross member. The draw rod is disposed such that the wedge members are positioned to engage the jaw top lug and the frame top cross member. Accordingly, in response to inward movement of the wedge members, the stationary jaw is progressively more firmly secured to the frame, thereby preventing undesired movement of the stationary jaw during operation of the crusher.

    • A crushing machine having enhanced crushing efficiency. The crushing machine includes an outer casing having a fixed jaw and a movable jaw each having a crushing blade for crushing reinforced concrete. The movable jaw includes a crushing blade having a rear-side edge formed in a substantially right-angled shape with a small arcuate edge portion located at an angled edge portion thereof, and a front-side edge generally formed by a large arcuate edge portion. The rear-side edge of the movable jaw crushing blade is oriented to face in a longitudinally inward direction away from a distal end of the movable jaw. The inward orientation of the rear-side edge along with its substantially right-angled shape allow the movable jaw crushing blade to concentrate the load of the crushing machine to the small point of contact between the movable jaw crushing blade and the reinforced concrete, thereby maximizing the crushing efficiency of the crushing machine. The shape and orientation of the movable jaw crushing blade of the present invention also allows the blade to bite into the concrete, thereby preventing slippage between the blade and the concrete.

    • The present invention relates to a method for disintegration of thermoplastic elastomeric materials containing fibres, wires or the like. This method comprises the following two steps: subjecting segments of the elastomeric materials to temperatures able to bring the segments into a brittle glass-like state (by means of a freezing chamber), and gradual disintegrating of the frozen segments by disintegrating means provided to separate the segments from the wires and fibres. This disintegration is effected by means of a bending force applied to the frozen segments causing them to break into small particles while the wires and fibres remain substantially intact. After the disintegration, separation of the small particles, wires and fibres takes place by separating means. The disintegrating means comprises a roll means, where the roll means is provided with mating bending surfaces spaced apart from each other at predetermined distances and facilitating maximum bending and breaking of the frozen segments being advanced between the roll means. The roll means may comprise two sets of rolls, where distance between the first set of rolls is bigger than the distance between the second set of rolls to facilitate gradual breaking of the frozen segments. The mating bending surfaces are a plurality of semi-spherical heads, where the heads are spaced from each other in such a way that heads on the mating surface of one roll are mating with a space between heads on the mating surface of another roll.
