The charging roller moving device moves the charging roller to positions including a first position where the charging roller is in contact with the photoreceptor and is separated from the cleaning member for a charging operation, a second position where the charging roller is in contact with the cleaning member for cleaning the surface of the charging roller and a third position where the charging roller is separated from the photoreceptor and the cleaning member. Even if the apparatus is left unoperated for a long time, the photoreceptor is prevented from being contaminated by the charging roller by placing the charging roller in the third position.

摘要： An ATM cell assembly and disassembly device capable of flexibly dealing with various data speeds on STM and ATM sides, and preventing the buffer overflow. In the ATM cell assembly device, the data stored in the buffer are outputted when an amount of the stored data becomes not less than a prescribed data amount sufficient for loading a payload section of each ATM cell, and the ATM cell flow is obtained from the ATM cells assembled from the data outputted from the buffer and empty cells. The buffer can be allowed to output the stored data only when the output permission signal issued in accordance with usage parameter control (UPC) parameters determined at a time of call set up is received. In the ATM cell disassembly device, the output data are stored into the buffer when a currently remaining capacity of the buffer becomes not less than an amount of data loaded in a payload section of each ATM cell, and the STM signals are obtained from the output data outputted from the buffer.

摘要： A developer replenishing device for replenishing a developing device with a developer, and a developer container for use therewith. The developer container, or toner bottle, has a mouth portion at one end thereof which is smaller in diameter than a hollow cylindrical main body. At the end of the bottle provided with the mouth, a shoulder has the inner periphery thereof partly raised to the edge of the mouth portion to form a raised portion for scooping up a toner. In addition, a part of the inner periphery of the circumferential wall of the bottle which is contiguous with the raised portion is also raised toward the axis of the bottle about which the bottle is rotatable, thereby forming another raised portion. When the bottle is mounted to a bottle holder, which is included in the replenishing device, substantially horizontally with the mouth portion oriented sideways, the bottle is rotated to raise the toner from the bottom of the main body to the mouth portion. As a result, the toner is discharged to the outside via the mouth portion smoothly.

摘要： A heat-resistant stretched film is obtained by stretching a resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a poly(arylene sulfide) of a substantially linear structure and 5 to less than 100 parts by weight of a melt-stable poly(arylene thioether-ketone). The poly(arylene sulfide) has a melt viscosity of at least 1,000 poises as measured at 310.degree. C. and a shear rate of 200 sec.sup.-1. The poly(arylene thioether-ketone) has predominant recurring units of the formula ##STR1## wherein the --CO-- and --S-- groups are bonded in the para position to each other through the benzene ring, and has the following physical properties (a)-(c):(a) a melting point, Tm being 310.degree.-380.degree. C.;(b) a melt crystallization temperature, Tmc (420.degree. C./10 min) being at least 210.degree. C. and a residual melt crystallization enthalpy, .DELTA.Hmc (420.degree. C./10 min) being at least 10 J/g; and(c) a reduced viscosity being 0.3-2 dl/g at 25.degree. C. and a polymer concentration of 0.5 g/dl in 98% sulfuric acid.

摘要： A poly(arylene sulfide) sheet excellent in planarity and smoothness is formed of a composition composed at least principally of a substantially linear, high molecular poly(arylene sulfide) having a melt viscosity of at least 1,000 poises. It has an elongation at break of at least 10% at 23.degree. C. and a Young's modulus of at least 5 kg/mm.sup.2 at 200.degree. C., and per area of 1 cm.times.2 cm on at least one of its surfaces, contains not more than 1 convex or concave whose angle of elevation or depression is at least 2.degree. and whose height or depth is at least 10 .mu.m. The sheet is produced by melting the composition, extruding the melt through a slit die, cooling and solidifying the extrudate into a sheet, preheating the sheet for 3-100 seconds in a temperature range of from a temperature 20.degree. C. lower than the glass transition temperature of the polymer to a temperature 25.degree. C. higher than the glass transition temperature, and then causing the thus-preheated sheet to pass between a heating roll heated at a temperature in a range of 120.degree.-200.degree. C. and a pinch roll under a pinch pressure of 0.05-10 kg/cm, whereby the sheet is continuously pressed under linear pressure, is subjected to a heat treatmtent for 3-100 seconds and is crystallized.

C./min after the polymer is heated from 23.degree. C. to 380.degree. C. at a rate of 10.degree. C./min and then held for 3 minutes at 380.degree. C. It has a surface roughness, Ra of 0.09 .mu.m or less on at least one side thereof and a degree of crystallization of at least 5%. Its number of flexings to break, Y satisfies the following equation (I):log Y.gtoreq.7.11-2.34log t (I)wherein t means a thickness (.mu.m) of the sheet. The sheet is produced by melt-extruding the poly(arylene sulfide) through a slit die into a sheet-like form and then cooling and crystallizing the sheet on a casting roll. The temperature, T (.degree.C.) of the casting roll is controlled to a temperature in a range satisfying the following equation (II):120.ltoreq.T.ltoreq.190-0.02t (II)wherein t means a thickness (.mu.m) of the sheet, thereby conducting the cooling and the crystallization of the sheet at one stage.

摘要： A wheel shaping apparatus including a single cotter for expanding first and second dies circumferentially split into a plurality of first and second die elements, respectively. The single cotter is supported by a cotter supporting member at one end portion of the cotter and is also supported by a cotter guide at the other end portion of the cotter during shaping of a rim element. Because of the single cotter supported at both end portions thereof, rim bead seat portions located at axially end portions of the rim element are shaped in an accurate alignment with each other and almost exactly parallel to each other.
