摘要： A conveying device to convey a conveyed object includes a supporter, a blower, a negative pressure generator, and a divider. The supporter has a front surface to support the conveyed object. The supporter has an air-permeable structure. The blower blows air toward the front surface of the supporter. The negative pressure generator creates a negative pressure state in a space at a back surface side of the supporter. The negative pressure generator includes a suction unit to suck air in the space through a plurality of suction ports. The suction ports are disposed away from and opposed to a back surface of the supporter. The divider is disposed away from the back surface of the supporter between the suction ports and the back surface of the supporter in the space. The divider has a plurality of ventilation holes smaller in opening area than each of the suction ports.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a drying section, a cooling section, and an exhaust section. The drying section dries a recording medium on which an image is formed. The cooling section cools the recording medium dried by the drying section. The exhaust section exhausts air from the drying section and the cooling section through an exhaust port. The exhaust section includes a plurality of flow path determiners disposed on opposing walls of the exhaust section, to form an air flow path from the drying section to the exhaust port. The plurality of flow path determiners alternately projects from the opposing walls.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a sheet feed device to feed a sheet along a sheet feed path, a sheet cutting device including a cutter and a cutter holder to cut the sheet to a desired length, a controller to control the sheet feed device and the cutter holder. The cutter holder holds the cutter and is reciprocally movable in a width direction of the sheet perpendicular to a sheet feed direction. The cutter holder, after cutting the sheet, is movable in the width direction with the cutter holder retracted away from the sheet feed path in a thickness direction of the sheet perpendicular to both the sheet feed direction and the width direction. The controller controls the sheet feed device to feed the sheet while the cutter holder moves in the width direction with the cutter holder retracted away from the sheet feed path in the thickness direction.
