    • An effect imparting device is constructed such that effects of a first kind which are different from each other are imparted to at least two of a plurality of musical tone signals transmitted via a plurality of channels. At least two of the musical tone signals are mixed. An effect of a second kind is imparted to the resulting signal. The effect imparting device is adapted to bypass at least one of effect-imparting blocks. An electronic musical instrument can change one of the effects of the first kind corresponding to a tone color of at least one of the musical tone signals transmitted via the channels simultaneously when the tone color is changed, while changing of an effect of the second kind is inhibited. A plurality of output terminals are provided through which the musical tone signals of the channels and to which effects have been imparted can be output to an external device, in a manner independent of each other.

    • A generator produces ultra-high purity nitrogen and ultra-high purity oxygen simultaneously by the liquefaction and rectification of feed air. Feed air is rectified in a first rectification column, and nitrogen gas separated to the top of that column is liquefied, in a nitrogen condenser, by oxygen-enriched liquid air separated to the bottom portion of the first rectification column. The oxygen-enriched liquid is fed to the upper portion of a second rectification column having a reboiler at its bottom, so that through rectification oxygen gas is fed from above a liquid reservoir to the lower portion of a third rectification column. Through rectification of the oxygen gas in the third rectification column, high purity oxygen gas, from which impurities having boiling points higher than that of oxygen have been removed by liquefaction, is fed to the center portion of a fourth rectification column which has a condenser in its top portion and a reboiler in its bottom portion. Through rectification of the high purity oxygen gas in the fourth rectification column, impurities having boiling points lower than that of oxygen are exhausted from the top portion thereof as non-condensed gas and ultra-high purity liquid oxygen is separated to the bottom thereof.

    • An ornament set includes a plurality of ornament units having double-sided adhesive sheets adhered to the back thereof, and a retainer strip adhered to the front sides thereof to hold the ornament units in a predetermined relationship. A method for manufacturing the ornament set providing a plurality of ornament units respectively having front surfaces to be displayed and back surfaces to be attached to a body to be decorated, and providing an arranging tool having recesses formed therein in relative positions corresponding to relative positions in which the ornament units are to be attached to the body to be decorated. The ornament units are positioned in the recesses of the arranging tool, respectively, such that the front surfaces of the ornament units are respectively facing the bottoms of the recesses. A double-sided adhesive tape is adhered to the back surface of each of the ornament units, and a release strip is applied onto respective surfaces of the double-sided adhesive sheets. With the ornament units connected in series by the release strip, the ornament units are extracted from the recesses of the arranging tool, and after extracting the ornament units from the recesses of the arranging tool, a substantially non-expansible retainer strip is applied to the front surfaces of the ornament units.
