    • A tilt sensor comprises a multi-layer circuit board, a holder, a first light-sensing component, a second light-sensing component, a light-emitting component, and a movable component. The multi-layer circuit board comprises a first layer board and a second layer board disposed on the first layer board. The second layer board comprises first, second, and third holding spaces each of which exposing a respective portion of the first layer board. The holder is disposed on the second layer board and has a containing recess connecting the first, second, and third holding spaces. A bottom surface of the containing recess is reflective. The first and second light-sensing components and the light-emitting component are disposed on the first layer board and in the first, second, and third holding spaces, respectively. The light-emitting component emits a light beam toward the bottom surface of the containing recess. The movable component is disposed in the containing recess.

    • A tilt sensor with power-saving mechanism is provided. The tilt sensor includes a light-emitting element, a blocking object displaceable in an accommodating space on a baseboard, at least two first light sensors, a second light sensor and a control module. The first and the second light sensors respectively sense a light amount and a light amount variation according to the relative position of the light-emitting element and the blocking object. During a power-saving mode, when the light amount variation is larger than a specific value, the control module makes the light-emitting element work in a working mode to emit light according to a first current. During the work mode, when the light amount does not change or the light amount variation is smaller than a threshold value, the control module makes the light-emitting element work in the power-saving mode to emit light according to a second current.

    • An optical-lever cantilever displacement detecting mechanism includes a support member, a cantilever cantilevered by the support member, a light source to emit a light beam, and an optical sensor to sense the light beam. The cantilever has a probe at its tip. The support member has a reflecting portion extending to face the cantilever with a space. The reflecting portion has a light transmitting portion to allow the light beam to pass therethrough. The cantilever and reflecting portion have reflecting surfaces on sides facing each other, respectively. The light beam emitted from the source undergoes repeated reflections by the reflecting surfaces of the cantilever and reflecting portion including reflections by the reflecting surface of the cantilever, passes through the light transmitting portion, and strikes the sensor. The sensor outputs a signal representing a change of the entry position of the light beam caused by a displacement of the cantilever.
