摘要： A quickly attachable/detachable extension wall structure for a pickup truck has side panels which are attached to conventional stake pocket tie-downs having transverse apertures. Each side panel includes a lower slotted channel within which threaded nuts may slide. Flanged fasteners have a first "quick release" end for attachement to the tie-downs, and a second end which is attached to the slidable nuts in the side panels, for rigid attachement of the side panels to the tie-downs. A front panel is removably attachable to the side panels, and a rear panel is removably, swivelly attached to the side panels.

摘要： A modular tack room which includes at least one wall hanger assembly and one or more hanging components. The wall hanger assembly includes an elongated vertical member which adjustably hooks over and grips the wall of a horse stall or trailer, and which has a plurality of receiving clips spaced along its length. A common mounting for a variety of hanging components includes a vertical mounting plate which fits downward within the receiving clip; two guide members, horizontally extending from the mounting plate, which are laterally separated by a space slightly greater than the width of the vertical tube to embrace the sides of the vertical member; and a lower support member positioned below the mounting plate to provide support against the vertical member. Various hanging components include: a saddle rack; a saddle rack having a bridle-harness hanger at its outer end; an arm member which extends horizontally, and, when used in pairs, provides support for a shelf; an extended arm member which, when used with a notched diagonal brace engaging the next lower receiving clip, provides a wider platform which may be used as a bunk; an arm member additionally having, at its outer end, an aperture through which a rod may be inserted, so that, used in pairs, it provides support for a horizontal rod; a multiple saddle blanket arm having a number of spaced apertures, which, when used in pairs with horizontal rods therebetween, supports multiple saddle blankets; and a bucket holder which includes a horizontal circular rim to hold a bucket for water or grain.

摘要： A portable kennel houses pets that are left in a vehicle on a sunny day. Pets left in vehicles are normally susceptible to heat exhaustion. The disclosed apparatus overcomes this problem without requiring that the vehicle air conditioning system be left on and without jeopardizing the security of the vehicle. One embodiment of the invention comprises a portable enclosure that is sized and adapted to hold a pet, and constructed to prevent unrestricted ingress of air into the enclosure from the outside thereof (such as from the hot passenger compartment of the vehicle in which the kennel may be positioned). The kennel further includes a system for providing cool air to the interior of the enclosure. The system is designed to be operable even when the vehicle engine is turned off and may comprise, for example, one or more Peltier effect devices powered by the vehicle battery or an auxiliary battery.

The walls of the compartments are formed by wall members incorporating vertical tubes and the floors and ceilings are formed by horizontal panels. Vertical rods extend upward from the truck bed through the horizontal panels and through the vertical tubes of the wall members to form a unified structure. The invention teaches that the number of vertical rods required may be minimized by employing special brackets to anchor the wall members and/or by making some wall members angular instead of linear. The number of vertical rods required for a horizontal row of N number of vertical tiers of compartments is reduced to 2N + 2.

摘要： A dolly cage and trailer for transporting a plurality of the cages are provided, the design of which reduces handling and shipping procedures involved in moving live fowl, and particularly turkeys and chickens, to market. The cage is partitioned, preferably containing seven layers, and is mounted on casters. The cage structure has a one way, free swinging door closing both ends of it. The free swinging door permits easy loading of the cage with live poultry. The animals are restricted to the cage by the one way door action. The trailer includes a self contained ramp which permits cage loading. The ramp also functions as closure means for the trailer entrance during cage transport. In the embodiment illustrated, twenty-two cages can be positioned on the trailer bed which positioning exemplifies maximum loading techniques consonant with minimum trailer size.
