摘要： The invention relates to a device for keeping cards, said device being provided with at least one card holder in which a card can be held at at least some of its edges, while the card holder is rotatably connected with lids located above and under the card holder. The card holder is provided with four legs bounding a rectangular through opening the size of a card to be accommodated, the legs forming a closed frame with external dimensions at least substantially equal to the external dimensions of a lid. The legs are provided with parts projecting into the opening, such that a card inserted into the opening is enclosed between at least one pair of projecting parts forming part of two opposed legs, said parts butting against the upper surface of the card, and at least one pair of projecting parts, which also form part of two opposed legs and which butt against the lower surface of the card.

摘要： A card holder for housing therein telephone cards or the like, comprising a plate-like base member with pairs of slits through which the cards are insertably housed in the transparent holder so that they are easy to distinguish and to remove. The top ends of each pair of slits are spaced apart at a distance slightly larger than the length of one side of the card. The slits bend downwardly near the top ends and extend therefrom downwardly and inwardly towards each other and approach the opposite ends. Two corners of the card are inserted into a pair of slits, whereby the card holder holds the cards in such a manner as to allow the card to be freely inserted and removed. The pairs of slits are spaced such that the cards do not overlap and are entirely visible. A retaining tongue is provided above each pair of slits to secure the cards in place.

摘要： An improved binder for sheet material. The binder includes a cover or backing member formed of paperboard or plastic, and a pair of hinge assemblies are attached to the inner surface of the cover. A standard binding mechanism is interconnected between the hinge assemblies and serves to retain the sheet material. Each hinge assembly includes a metal hinge plate that is secured flatwise to the cover by a plurality of stamped out prongs. Each prong is generally triangular in configuration and is provided with a curved pointed tip. The prongs have a length substantially greater than the thickness of the backing member and when embedded by pressure, the configuration of the prongs causes the prongs to curl within the cover, so that the prongs are completely embedded in the cover and not exposed on the outer surface of the cover.
