    • An apparatus and method for producing porous polymer particles is disclosed. The apparatus includes a rotating atomizer wheel (39) onto which a uniform thin layer of a polymer may be applied via a distributor (40), followed by the movement of the polymer to the periphery of the wheel due to centrifugal force and the subsequent release of free flying particles at the periphery of the wheel. The apparatus further includes a catch tray (14) to collect the porous polymer particles produced and an enclosure defining a partition between an interior environment and an exterior environment of the apparatus. The enclosure includes an aperture allowing a gaseous exchange between the interior and exterior environments.

    • A system and process for dispensing a liquid agrochemical such as ammonia into a field is disclosed. The ammonia is placed in a vessel under sufficient pressure to maintain a substantial portion of the ammonia in a liquid form. From the pressurized vessel, the ammonia is fed to a distribution manifold where it is ultimately injected into a soil through a plurality of dispensing tubes. A constant pressure flow rate control device is placed at each dispensing tube for metering the amount of ammonia fed to the soil. Furthermore, the outlet flow of each constant pressure rate control device is made to vaporize nearby the inlet flow path to create a heat exchange effect thereby cooling the inlet flow. In particular, the flow control devices allow ammonia to be dispensed from the system while maintaining sufficient back pressure and temperature within the distribution manifold to maintain the ammonia in a liquid form. By maintaining the ammonia in a liquid form, uniform and accurately controlled flow rates can be dispensed from the dispensing tubes.

    • A liquid manure spreading tool bar for use on a manure spreader, wherein the manure spreader has a tank and a pump, and wherein the spreading tool bar has a supporting frame externally mounted onto the tank, a manure distributor mounted onto the supporting frame, a vertically extending telescopic conduit made of a rigid material, and at least one manure discharging pipes connected to a corresponding outlet of the manure distributor. The supporting frame is movable in an up and down position with respect to the tank. Each of the manure discharging pipes is made of a rigid material and is vertically movable together with the frame and the manure distributor. The telescopic conduit has one end connected to the manure distributor while the other end is connected to the pump so as to feed the manure pumped from the tank to the manure distributor. In as much as the telescopic conduit and discharging pipes are not flexible, they cannot break.
