摘要： Methods for curing a coating material, including a primary coating material, a secondary coating material, and a taping material, on an optical fiber. An optical fiber coating material having (A) 100 parts by weight of a polyether polyurethane bearing at least two ethylenically unsaturated groups with a Mn of 800-10,000, and (B) 1-40 parts by weight of a nitrogenous reactive diluent is cured by irradiating thereto electron beams, produced by driving electrons under an accelerating voltage of 50-190 kV, in a dose of 10-100 kGy. The method succeeds in effectively curing the optical fiber coating material into a cured coating having stable properties.

摘要： The present invention relates to electrochromic polymeric solid films, manufacturing electrochromic devices using such solid films and processes for making such solid films and devices. The electrochromic polymeric solid films of the present invention exhibit beneficial properties and characteristics, especially when compared to known electrochromic media. The electrochromic polymeric solid films are transformed in situ from a low viscosity electrochromic monomer composition by exposure to electromagnetic radiation, and in so doing minimum shrinkage occurs. The electrochromic polymeric solid films of the present invention also perform well under prolonged coloration, outdoor weathering and all-climate exposure, and provide an inherent safety aspect not known to electrochromic media heretofore.

摘要： The invention relates to compositions of ionization-setting maleic resins and their use for manufacture of composite materials with a fibrous reinforcement. These compositions comprise a maleic resin and a reactive diluent made up of at lest one compound chosen from among dipentaerythritol pentacrylate and hydroxyethyl methacrylate, the total quantity of reactive diluent being between 10 and 70 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of maleic resin. They may also comprise a plasticizer such as bis-allylic resin. With these compositions it is possible to obtain composite materials set by ionization without additional post heat treatment.
