    • The present invention relates to a circularly polarized directional helical antenna that is capable of being used in RFID devices and more particularly in RFID readers. The antenna is intended to transmit or receive signals in a predetermined frequency band, λ being the wavelength associated with the minimum frequency of the predetermined frequency band. It includes a helicoidal radiating element made of conductive material extending along a longitudinal axis (A) and the axial length (H) of which is less than the wavelength λ, and a cavity made of conductive material having an open end and a closed end and having an axis of symmetry that coincides with the longitudinal axis of the radiating element, at least one lower portion of the radiating element being arranged inside the cavity so that its lower end is in contact with the closed end of the cavity.

    • Disclosed is a high-gain wideband antenna apparatus. The high-gain wideband antenna apparatus, includes: a feeding antenna configured to radiate a signal; a cover configured to be disposed on a front surface of the feeding antenna based on a radiation direction of the signal and including a conductor pattern formed in a specific shape; and a ground surface configured to be disposed on the feeding antenna based on the radiation direction of the signal. By this configuration, the conductor patterns are approximately configured on both surfaces of a dielectric material to control a phase of a reflection coefficient in a specific frequency band, thereby increasing a gain and a bandwidth of an antenna and metal surfaces are additionally mounted on sides of a feeding antenna, thereby improving a front back ratio of the antenna.

    • A radome and a microstrip patch antenna having the same are disclosed. The gain value of the microstrip patch antenna having the disclosed radome can be increased while the size thereof remains in a limited size. The disclosed radome comprises: a radome body, having an upper surface and a lower surface; a first gain-enhancing pattern, locating on the upper surface and including a plurality of first ring gain-enhancing units; and a second gain-enhancing pattern, locating on the lower surface and including a plurality of second ring gain-enhancing units. The first ring gain-enhancing unit includes a first conductive ring and a second conductive ring, and the second ring gain-enhancing unit includes a third conductive ring and a fourth conductive ring. Besides, the opening direction of the third conductive ring is perpendicular to the opening direction of the first conductive ring.
