摘要： A porthole gasket is configured to seal a circumferential region around two overlapping portholes in two adjacent heat exchanger plates of a plate heat exchanger, so as to define a passage for a fluid into or out of the plate heat exchanger. The porthole gasket has a ring-shaped portion to be compressed between the two adjacent heat exchanger plates while surrounding the overlapping portholes. The porthole gasket further comprises a plurality of projections that protrude from an outer perimeter of the ring-shaped portion and are configured to be compressed between the two adjacent heat exchanger plates so as to support the ring-shaped portion against pressure exerted by the fluid. A plate package for a plate heat exchanger is configured to include the two adjacent heat exchanger plates and the porthole gasket.

摘要： A radiator for a vehicle is provided. The radiator includes a first header tank that has an inlet port formed at a first side thereof to allow a coolant to flow from an engine thereinto and an outlet port formed at a second side thereof to allow the coolant to flow to the engine. A second header tank is disposed apart from the first header tank. A heat-exchanging portion fluidly connects the inlet tank and the outlet tank and includes a plurality of tubes and radiation fins to cool the coolant flowing in the tubes by exchanging heat with air. A diaphragm unit is disposed at the inside of the first header tank to prevent the coolant which flows into the inlet port from being mixed with the coolant which is exhausted from the outlet port.

摘要： A method may involve positioning a fixture over a portion of a tube portion of a gasket, where the gasket includes a first lip portion joined to a second lip portion by a weld of the gasket and the first lip portion joined to the second lip portion defines the tube portion, where the fixture comprises a housing and an injection port; positioning an ultrasonic probe in the housing; filling, by the injection port, coupling fluid between the ultrasonic probe and the tube portion of the gasket; and scanning at least a portion of the weld with the ultrasonic probe, where scanning the at least a portion of the weld may involve transmitting, by the ultrasonic probe, a plurality of ultrasonic waves through the coupling fluid into the tube portion, and translating the fixture in a longitudinal direction along the tube portion of the gasket.

An array of tubes having a first face and a second face can be configured within the cavity to direct a second fluid through the cavity. A bonnet can be functionally coupled to the array of tubes, the bonnet defining an interior region in fluidic communication with the array of tubes. A plate can be functionally coupled to the array of tubes, the plate defining a space in fluidic communication with the array of tubes. The bonnet can include one or more projections extending from an interior surface and into the interior region of the bonnet. The bonnet and plate are adaptable to define a first or second multi-pass flow pattern configuration of the second fluid within the array of tubes.

The scaling lip circumscribes the perimeter of the pad and includes a base end, which is connected to the perimeter of the pad, and a terminal end. The sealing lip extends outwardly along the pad plane from the pad perimeter and projects from the core face. The sealing lip including an outer lip wall which extends from the base end to the terminal end along a tip axis disposed at an oblique lip pitch angle relative to the pad plane.
