摘要： A method of making a rapid setting composition for cement boards is disclosed. Compositions including portland cement, fly ash, gypsum, alkanolamine and phosphate are disclosed. A synergistic interaction between the alkanolamine and phosphate increases the effectiveness of accelerating reactions thus allowing for quick setting and increased early-age compressive strength compositions.

摘要： A composite material is obtained by mixing with water 100 parts in weight of binder, between 250 and 800 parts in weight of steel-based shot having a granulometric distribution comprised between 120 jim and 3000 jim, between 10 and 15 parts in weight of non-densified silica fume and a highly water-reducing superplasticizer. The ratio between the weight quantity of water and the weight quantity of hydraulic binder is comprised between 0.16 and 0.25. The composite material presents a very high abrasion resistance, an abrasion index measured according to the C.N.R protocol comprised between 0.15 and 1.0, the value of the D10 grain size of the shot being at least eight times greater than the value of the D90 grain size of the hydraulic binder.

The concrete obtained is particularly suitable for polished flooring overlay.

摘要： A foundation system includes metal framing members that support a reinforced, lightweight, dimensionally stable cementitious panel. The foundation system is non-combustible, water durable, mold and rot resistant, and termite resistant. The panels employ one or more layers of a continuous phase resulting from the curing of an aqueous mixture of inorganic binder, for example, calcium sulfate alpha hemihydrate, hydraulic cement, an active pozzolan and lime. The continuous phase is reinforced with glass fibers and contains lightweight filler particles, for example, ceramic microspheres.

摘要： The present invention provides a process for the preparation of self glazed geopolymer tile using fly ash and granulated blast furnace slag. In the process of the present invention, the granulated blast furnace slag is fine grounded and/or mechanically activated in conventional grinding mills or high-energy mills. The fly ash, which is found in powder form and fine powder of granulated blast furnace slag, is thoroughly mixed to make a homogenous mixture. The alkaline solution is added into the mixture to initiate the geopolymerization. The ratio of water to powder is optimised to obtain a consistent paste to be used for vibration casting. During the casting, the consistent paste flows inside the mould and the particles settles at mirror finished surface of mould, giving rise to dense and smooth surface.

摘要： The invention relates to an ultra-high-performance, self-compacting light-coloured concrete comprising: a cement; a mixture of calcined bauxite sands of different grain sizes, the finest sand having an average grain size of less than 1 mm and the thickest sand having an average grain size of less than 10 mm; optionally silica fume, whereby 90% of the particles thereof have a size of less than 1 ?m and the average diameter is approximately 0.5 ?m, said silica fume representing at most 15 parts by weight per 100 parts of cement; an antifoaming agent; water-reducing superplasticiser; optionally fibres; and water. The inventive concrete also comprises: ultrafine calcium carbonate particles having a specific surface area that is equal to or greater than 10 m2/g and a form factor (IF) that is equal to or greater than 0.3 and, preferably, equal to or greater than 0.4. The grain size distribution of the cements, sands, ultrafine calcium carbonate particles and silica fume is such that at least three, and at most five, different grain size ranges are present, the ratio between the average diameter of one grain size range and that of the range immediately above is approximately 10. The invention also relates to the method of preparing one such concrete and to the uses thereof.
