摘要： A method of forming a scale model for simulation of a seismic survey is disclosed. The model includes layers which are formed by way of stereolithography or similar methods, from a CAD data base; the precision of the formation of the layers allows for construction of the model without adhesives between all layers for structural integrity of the model, although adhesive or a wetting agent may be used, depending upon the desired simulation experiment. The model also includes molded layers which are poured, injected, or otherwise introduced in liquid form. The liquid may then be solidified, or may remain in liquid form, depending upon the survey. These molded layers may be made into the prefabricated layers where appropriate, or during the process of constructing the model. Simulation of the survey may be made by imparting acoustic energy thereinto and detecting the same. The disclosed method allows for iteration of the simulation in an efficient manner, as certain of the layers may be removed and replaced with others, due to the precision of the prefabrication process. Further iteration may efficiently be made by reconstruction of the entire model, due to the efficiency of the formation of the various layers.

摘要： An improved extrusion-based manufacturing system includes one or more extruders, with each extruder containing at least two stages of increasing pressurization. In a preferred embodiment, a first stage of pressurization is created by the motion of a solid wafer of thermoplastic through an orifice into a heater chamber. In another preferred embodiment, the wafers are stored in removable, electronically tagged, cassettes and are removed therefrom by a stapler mechanism which feeds the wafers from the cassette to a tractor feed mechanism on demand. In each embodiment, a second stage of pressurization is provided by a pump, with the first stage pressurization maintaining a flow of thermoplastic to the pump under all expected pump rates.

In order to achieve optimum wiping conditions the wiper device has a leading first surface portion and a trailing second surface portion when moving along the second direction, the first and second surface portions extending in the first direction, the first surface portion having a first surface tension value and the second surface portion having a second surface tension value different from the first surface tension value.

摘要： A process is described for the preparation of photopolymerizable compositions, wherein the photopolymerizable compositions can be photopolymerized by the irradiation of emission lines of differing wavelength from a UV/VIS laser light source, and contain a photopolymerizable compound and at least two photoinitiators, by adjusting the sensitivity to radiation. The ratio between the concentrations of the individual photoinitiators is so adjusted that the composition has virtually the same optical density for the radiation of the different emission lines at which the photoinitiators are effective.

摘要： A printing method for printing a multi-material 3D model comprises the following steps: perform a slicing process on a multi-material 3D object to generate the multi-material object slices and the object slices of a useful object; compute a material-switching point and a retrieving point during the slicing process; print the multi-material object slices of a multi-material 3D model with one of the materials; when print to the material-switching point, switch to another different material and print useful objects with the material used before the material switching; when print to the retrieving point, print the multi-material object slices with the material used after the material switching; and repeat the above steps until completing the multi-material 3D model printing. The present disclosed example prints the useful object via the remaining materials after the material switching which effectively reduces the cost with of multi-materials printing.
