摘要： A process serves for recoating a deactivated catalyst coating of a catalyst for converting harmful constituents from the exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine, particularly in a motor vehicle. In this process, washcoat and/or noble metal compounds are sprayed by means of an aerosol into the catalyst. The noble metal compounds are subsequently brought into their elemental state by means of a reducing medium flowing through the catalyst, after which the washcoat applied is dried by heat treatment or calcination. In an apparatus for carrying out the process, a first line for a carrier gas and a second line for the washcoat and/or the noble metal compounds are provided. The first line is arranged at least partly in a region before the catalyst within the second line and at its ends nearest the catalyst is provided with an atomization device. The second line opens into the catalyst,with there being provided after the catalyst a third line which opens into a separator from which the first and the second lines lead away.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and pertinent apparatus for purifying gases, exhaust gases, vapors, and brines, which are contaminated with undesirable chemical substances or contain high concentrations of these substances, by means of photocatalytic reactions occurring on the surface of catalysts. The catalysts are situated in a fixed or fluidized bed on catalyst carriers. In fluidized beds, the catalysts themselves can serve as catalyst carriers. The substrates to be purified are fed through a closed system which contains the catalyst carriers and catalysts. In the fixed-bed catalytic method, the catalyst carrier/catalyst system continuously or discontinuously passes through a washing zone to remove the generated mineralization products. The reaction is induced by shortwave photons of wavelengths between 250 and 400 nm.

摘要： A supported particulate cobalt catalyst is formed by dispersing cobalt, alone or with a metal promoter, particularly rhenium, as a thin catalytically active film upon a particulate titania or titania-containing support, especially one wherein the rutile:anatase ratio of the support is at least about 3:2. This catalyst can be used to convert an admixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen to a distillate fuel constituted principally of an admixture of linear paraffins and olefins, particularly a C.sub.10+ distillate, at high productivity, with low methane selectivity. A process is also disclosed for the preparation of these catalysts.

The mixture could contain, for example, chloroplatinic acid, with other materials, such as aluminum oxide, dextrose and triethanolamine all dissolved and mixed in water. In use, the mixture is sprayed onto, and impregnates, expended carrier pads of catalytic heaters to revive the pads and permit continued use of the heaters. In addition, the mixture can be sprayed into the exhaust system of an operating engine to coat the inner walls of the muffler of the system for antipollution purifying purposes.

摘要： Disclosed is a catalyst filter, which includes a catalyst support and a nano metallic catalyst sprayed to a surface of the catalyst support. The catalyst filter uses catalyst slurry prepared by using a particulate catalyst, in which a small amount of nano metallic catalyst exhibiting a catalyst performance is sprayed to a surface of the catalyst support, different from an existing patent technique in which catalyst particles are formed and prepared as a support to consume a large amount of catalyst. Therefore, the specific surface area of the catalyst filter is not smaller than the specific surface area of the nano catalyst particles, and thus the catalyst filter may effectively remove and decompose ultra-low concentration gas-state contaminants in an indoor air.

摘要： A process is disclosed for limiting the emissions of gases from a porous material in the form of particles comprising a porous inorganic support and at least 0.1% by weight of one or more compounds chosen from organic compounds, halogen compounds, boron compounds and phosphorus compounds. The particles are placed in motion within a hot gas stream traversing them, and a liquid composition containing one or more film-forming polymer(s) is sprayed over the moving particles by means of a twin-fluid atomization nozzle, in which the liquid composition is mixed with a pressurized gas, with a relative atomization pressure of greater than or equal to 0.7×105 Pa, until a protective layer containing the film-forming polymer(s) and exhibiting a mean thickness of less than or equal to 20 μm is obtained on the surface of the said particles. A material resulting from this process is also disclosed.

摘要： This invention relates to a cobalt-based catalyst on a metal structure for selective production of synthetic oil via Fischer-Tropsch reaction, a method of preparing the same and a method of selectively producing synthetic oil using the same, wherein zeolite, cobalt and a support are mixed and ground to give a catalyst sol, which is then uniformly thinly applied on the surface of a metal structure using a spray-coating process, thereby preventing generation of heat during Fischer-Tropsch reaction and selectively producing synthetic oil having a carbon chain shorter than that of wax. This catalyst is prepared by burning a powder mixture obtained by melt infiltration of a cobalt hydrate and a metal oxide support to give a catalyst powder including cobalt oxide/metal oxide support; hybridizing the catalyst powder including cobalt oxide/metal oxide support with a zeolite powder to give a hybrid catalyst powder; mixing the hybrid catalyst powder with an organic binder and an inorganic binder and grinding the mixed hybrid catalyst powder to give a hybrid catalyst sol; spray-coating a metal structure surface-treated with alumina by atomic layer deposition with the hybrid catalyst sol; and thermally treating the metal structure spray-coated with the hybrid catalyst sol.
