    • A helicopter has a main rotor with propeller blades which is driven by a rotor shaft and which is hinge-mounted to this rotor shaft. The angle between the surface of rotation of the main rotor and the rotor shaft may vary. A swinging manner on an oscillatory shaft is essentially transverse to the rotor shaft of the main rotor and is directed transversally to the longitudinal axis of the vanes. The main rotor and the auxiliary rotor are connected to each other by a mechanical link. The swinging motions of the auxiliary rotor controls the angle of incidence (A) of at least one of the propeller blades of the main rotor. There are wings from the body and a stabilizer at the tail.

    • An aerial photography apparatus that comprises a remote controlled piloted aircraft, a platform, a camera, and a remote wireless transmitter for operating and controlling the apparatus. The remote controlled piloted aircraft is attached to the top side of the platform. The camera is attached to the bottom side of the platform using a rigid member having a rotatable joint. The remote controlled piloted aircraft lifts and moves the apparatus to a desired location at a specific altitude above a particular property where the panoramic aerial photograph is to be taken. Depending upon the wind forces exerted upon the remote controlled piloted aircraft and the resulting orientation of the aircraft to maintain the camera at the desired location, the rotatable joint enables the gravitational weight of the camera to naturally gravitate to a vertical orientation or position relative to the ground. Alternatively, cushions in the platform or a suspension system may be used to achieve this position for the camera. A counterbalance weight is provided on the camera to counter the weight of the lens for maintaining the camera in a level balance while rotating through the three hundred and sixty degree rotation when creating the desired panoramic aerial photograph

    • An airfoil launching system having a rod with a structure attached to a first end of the rod. A pusher holds a ring airfoil and has a sufficient coefficient of friction that the ring airfoil will generally rotate with the pusher and is rotatably and slidably mounted on the rod. Propulsive force is provided by resilient bands connected to the structure outward from the rod and to the pusher outward from the central aperture of the pusher. A string guide is rotatably attached to the rod and has apertures through which generally non-resilient cords, the first ends of which are attached to the pusher outward from the central aperture, pass. The second ends of the generally non-resilient cords are connected to each other, preferably with a pliable grip.

    • An apparatus is disclosed for a modular and adjustable autorotative flying toy comprising: a planar, quasi tear-drop shaped wing having a substantially linear leading edge; an elongated cylindrical spine adapted to receive the wing; and a root constructed from elastomeric material, adapted to receive the spine, one end of the spine is inserted into an aperture in the root and fixed there by the root's elastomeric properties. The flight and rotational characteristics of the flyer may be adjusted by interchanging its components for alternative components that have different size, shape or weight; and by slidably adjusting the wing's position within the slit in the spine.

    • A vertical takeoff and landing aircraft is disclosed that includes a support structure having a motor mounted vertically thereto, with the motor having a propeller for rotation in a horizontal plane. A power supply for the motor is mounted to the support structure below the motor and electrical coupled thereto. A plurality of fins are attached by their first end to the power and extending radially outward therefrom. Vertical posts have there first ends attached to the second end of the fins and extend upward to the plane of rotation of the propeller. A ring is mounted horizontally to the second ends of the plurality of vertical posts surrounding the propeller. The torque produced by the drag of fins as the aircraft rotates in the opposite direction reacting the torque of the propeller equal to the torque of the propeller necessary to achieve hover. The rotational inertia of aircraft is made equal to the rotational inertia of the propeller.
