摘要： A nonsealable, matt, hazy, biaxially oriented multilayer film comprising a base layer and at least one outer layer wherein the base layer contains a propylene polymer and the outer layer(s) contain(s) high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and a polypropylene polymer. The film has a haze value, measured in accordance with ASTM D 1003, of greater than 40. The film is useful, for example, in the production of laminates or as a backing film for an adhesive on coating.

The outer layers of the inventive films advantageously include at least one IR-reflective pigment and one UV stabilizer. The inventive films advantageously feature adjustable mattness, diffuse scattering power for visible light, high light transmittance, IR reflectance, and good thermoformability, and are suitable for thermally protective coatings or thermally protective packaging.

摘要： A sealable film is disclosed comprising (i) a base layer comprising polypropylene and a hydrocarbon resin and (ii) at least one top layer comprising (a) an ethylene/propylene copolymer having an ethylene content of not more than about 10% by weight, (b) a propylene/1-butene copolymer, (c) a propylene/ethylene/alpha-olefin terpolymer, or (d) a blend of two or more of (a), (b) and (c), wherein at least one of said base layer and said at least one top layer contains an anti-blocking agent or lubricant and wherein the top layer contains a hydrocarbon resin. The film possesses improved barrier properties with respect to permeability to water vapor and oxygen, and which at the same time exhibits favorable slip properties and low shrink values.

摘要： A multilayered, highly transparent, biaxially oriented, polypropylene film having excellent twist properties, which is particularly suited for twist wrapping comprising a base layer which contains about 70 to about 95% by weight polypropylene and about 5 to about 30% by weight based on the layer of a low-molecular hydrocarbon resin having a softening point of about 130 to about 180.degree. C., and at least one additional layer which optionally comprises an anti-blocking agent having an average particle size of about 2 to about 5 .mu.m and optionally further comprises a polydimethylsiloxane. The films have high mechanical strength values, which are about the same both in the longitudinal and in the transverse directions, and a balanced orientation. A process for producing the film is also provided.
