    • A system and method are provided for enabling and performing scheduling for wireless devices supporting multiple users or devices. The system has a wireless subscriber device that is enabled to support multiple users or devices. The wireless system may operate accordingly to a wireless air interface such as WCDMA, CDMA2000, GSM, or other wireless technology. The wireless device has a message generator, which is configured to generate a multi-user message. The device transmits the multi-user message to the network. The network receives the multi-user message and begins to schedule network resources to the device as a device supporting multiple users.

    • An automated software re-testing system for efficiently validating proper operation according to a specification. Regression tests are automatically created in an object-oriented system. The inheritance hierarchy of the system is used to determine which system classes should be tested. Regression test class destructors are used to test dependent classes. Unchanged system classes, and those dependent entirely on unchanged system classes need not be tested and time and effort are saved by skipping their re-testing.

    • In the present invention, a lighting controller is provided to provide illumination based upon the playing of musical instruments. The lighting controller is programmed with lighting profiles which control the lights on a device. When musical instrument is played, a note (event) is detected by a transducer and based upon which event has been detected, a signal is sent to the lighting controller to determine which lighting profile to send to the device. Upon determining the proper lighting profile. a signal is sent from the lighting controller to the device causing the device to illuminate.

    • A mobile station configured to perform a soft handoff. The mobile station comprises a receiver and a smart antenna module. The receiver is configured to receive a plurality of similar RF signals that comprises a plurality of first RF signals generated by a serving base station or first base station transmitter, and a plurality of second RF signals generated by a second base station transmitter. The smart antenna module comprises a means for classifying the similar RF signals from the second base station transmitter as an interference signal when the first RF signals exceeds a first threshold. Additionally, the mobile station comprises a means for reclassifying the interference signal from the second base station transmitter as a desired signal when the first RF signals generated by the serving base station are below the first threshold. The mobile station also comprises a second threshold, which triggers an instruction to transmit a first signal strength associated with the first RF signals and a second signal strength associated with the second RF signals to the first base station. The mobile station then receives an instruction from the first base station transmitter to simultaneously demodulate and combine similar RF generated by the first base station transmitter and the second base station transmitter.
