    • A wet paper web transfer belt (1) has a wet paper web-side layer (31) including a resin and a hydrophilic fibrous body (30) and a machine-side layer (32). A basic fabric (33) disposed in the belt comprises a first woven fabric (34) disposed on a wet paper web (W) side and a second woven fabric (35) disposed on a press roll (10) side. The first woven fabric (34) and the second woven fabric (35) are stacked together. At least a portion of the hydrophilic fibrous body (30) is exposed on a surface (37) of the wet paper web-side layer (31). The basis weight of the first woven fabric (34) is greater than the basis weight of the second woven fabric (35). The structure is effective to improve a first function to cause the wet paper web (W) to stick thereon and to transfer the wet paper web (W), and a second function to allow the wet paper web (W) to be smoothly released from the belt for transferring the wet paper web (W) to a next process. The belt (1) has opposite edges (E) prevented from being curled while the belt (1) is traveling.

    • The present invention provides an industrially safe, easily operable process for producing an optically active epoxy alcohol derivative useful as an intermediate for pharmaceuticals from inexpensively available materials, and also provides a novel halohydrin derivative serving as an important intermediate for the epoxy alcohol derivative. Furthermore, the present invention provides a process for producing an intermediate for a triazole antifungal agent by allowing a halohydrin to react with a triazole sulfonamide, the process including a small number of steps. A process for producing an optically active epoxy alcohol derivative includes allowing an optically active α-substituted propionate derivative to react with a haloacetic acid derivative in the presence of a base to prepare an optically active haloketone derivative, allowing the resulting haloketone derivative to react with an aryl metal compound to stereoselectively prepare a halohydrin derivative, eliminating a substituent for the hydroxy group of the halohydrin derivative, and performing epoxidation with a base. Furthermore, a process for producing an intermediate for a triazole antifungal agent includes allowing a halohydrin derivative to react with a triazole sulfonamide, the process including a small number of steps.

    • The duplexer includes a transmit filter connected between an antenna terminal and a transmit terminal, and a splitter circuit and a receive filter connected in series between the antenna terminal and the receive terminal. The splitter circuit includes at least one phaseline connected between the antenna terminal and the receive filter and at least one resonator connected in parallel with the phaseline. According to the present invention, the length of the phaseline can be made shorter, so the entire duplexer can be made more compact in size. In addition, an inductors are preferably connected between each ends of the phaseline and the resonator. In this case, the inductance of a wire or via formed within the package can be used.
