摘要： Lancing system comprising a needle and a lancing device The lancing device comprises a housing with a housing opening that is surrounded by a housing skin contact surface. A lancing depth reference element with a reference skin contact surface is adapted in such a manner that the reference skin contact surface at a reversal point of the lancing movement is in contact with the skin. The lancing depth is determined by the distance between the reference skin contact surface and the tip of the needle element at the reversal point of the lancing movement. The lancing depth reference element is in a stationary defined position relative to the reversal point of the lancing movement. The lancing depth reference element is adapted to stabilize the skin when pressed against the reference skin contact surface with respect to a skin deformation which occurs upon lancing of the skin.

摘要： The invention relates to a puncturing system for generating a puncture wound for obtaining a sample of a body fluid, comprising a press-on part to be pressed onto a body part in which a puncture wound is to be generated, a triggering means with which a user can trigger a puncturing motion of a puncturing element after the press-on part is pressed on, and a testing facility for determining a test parameter on which a sample-obtaining probability depends. A securing facility is also provided that, in a locked state, locks the triggering means and, in a triggering state, releases the triggering means such that a puncturing motion can be triggered by actuation thereof. The securing facility is transitioned from the locked state to the triggering state by the testing facility when the test parameter determined by the testing facility meets defined minimum requirements.

The capillary structure extends from the tip to the test panel and has a fluid connection to the tip configured to allow body fluid to penetrate into the capillary structure. The test panel contains at least a part of the reagent system and is positioned in the test element adjacent to a part of the capillary structure of the puncture element in such a manner that body fluid penetrating into the capillary structure contacts a liquid entry side of the test panel. The test panel comprises a transparent support layer and a test layer applied to the support layer by coating, the side of the test panel facing away from the support layer forming its liquid entry side, which faces toward the capillary structure.

摘要： An actuator for driving a test element is disclosed. The test element can comprise a lancet for perforating the skin of a living organism. The actuator can comprise an engaging part for engaging and driving the test element in a lancing motion. The actuator can further comprise a lancing actuator and a lancing spring. The lancing actuator can bias the lancing spring by executing a forward movement and thereby can exert a biasing force on the engaging part. The actuator can further comprise a latch element. The latch element can be a force-sensitive latch element for exerting a retention force to hold back the engaging part. The retention force can counteract the biasing force. The latch element can release the engaging part when the biasing force exerted by the lancing actuator exceeds the retention force exerted by the latch element, thereby allowing the test element to perform the lancing motion.

摘要： Body fluid sampling device comprising a skin-piercing element having a collection zone for receiving body fluid. In one embodiment, the collection zone includes a plurality of holes, e.g., 3 or more holes, or 50 to 100 holes. The hole size may be small, e.g., having a diameter of 0.01 to 0.5 mm. The holes may or may not extend through the lancet. In some embodiments, the holes have a depth of 50 to 500 μm. In other embodiments, the collection zone is porous, or is a roughened area. The collection zone can take up a very small volume of body fluid, e.g., 3 to 10 nL, in a very short time period, e.g., less than 0.5 seconds. In other embodiments, the device further comprises a fluid receiving means spaced apart from the collection zone so that body fluid in the collection zone will not contact the fluid receiving means initially.

摘要： Body fluid sampling device comprising a skin-piercing element having a collection zone for receiving body fluid, and the device further comprising a fluid receiving means remote spaced apart from the collection zone so that body fluid in the collection zone will not contact the fluid receiving means initially. The collection zone takes up a very small volume of body fluid of about 10 to 500 nl in a very short time period of less than 0.5 seconds. The fluid receiving means may have a test zone for performing an analytical reaction. Fluid sample from the collection zone is automatically or manually transported to the fluid receiving means to contact the fluid with the test zone.
