The boom includes a base member that can be fixedly secured to the vehicle by at least one securement device. A jib, especially with locking elements for locking a bridge element in place, is moveable relative to the base member. A pivot member is pivotably disposed on the base member, and the jib is pivotably disposed on the pivot member. Pursuant to the method for moving the boom into a vehicle transport position, the jib is pivoted about a pivot axis in the forward direction of travel by raising the pivot axis of the jib.

A molding tool is disposed between one of the first and second platens and the intermediate plate. In order to allow operation of the closing unit with intermediate plate also as a single-face mold for molding a single-component product, the molding operation between the other one of the first and second platens and the intermediate plate is disabled by a dummy tool or by securely fixing the intermediate plate to the other one of the first and second platens. Removal of an end product from the molding tool is realized by at least one ejector which is arranged in or on the intermediate plate.

The cooling channel is positioned hereby closer to the cavity surface than the heat channel and thus is in an area between the heat channel and the cavity surface, thereby defining a cavity-proximal cooling channel and a cavity-distal heat channel. Before the injection process, the cavity surface is heated by the heat channel to a higher temperature than the demolding temperature of the plastic article to be formed. At the end of the injection process, the cavity surface is cooled by the cooling system.

The contact point between the base bodies of the device socket and the plug is produced by a ground ring on one of them and has resilient tongues that rest on the other one. Outwardly visible components, especially outer sides of the plug receiving portion, of the locking ring, and possibly of the coupling nuts of the cable adapters, are provided with a dull, cadmium-free surface that is resistant to environmental influences and is possibly electrically insulating.
