    • The present invention provides a method and a computer system for sharing a graphics card among multiple Operation Systems (OSs). The method includes: detecting a first GOS to be displayed, the first GOS being a primary GOS or one of at least one secondary GOS; determining the kind of the first GOS, so that different display control register bank(s) and graphics card memory resources are allocated to the first GOS depending on whether it is a primary GOS or a secondary GOS; controlling the display control register bank(s) allocated to the first GOS to connect to a display output port; obtaining display contents based on the graphics card memory resources allocated to the first GOS; and displaying the display contents based on display mode parameters in the display control register bank(s) connected to the display output port. According to the present invention, it is possible to share the graphics card among the multiple OSs without modifying the drivers of the primary GOS.

    • Methods for presenting files upon switching between system states and portable terminals are provided. The portable terminal comprising a first system platform and a second system platform, a state in which the presentation of the file is controlled by the first system platform being a first state, and a state in which the presentation of the file is controlled by the second system platform being a second state. The method comprising: detecting, by the first system platform in the first state, that a status of the file satisfies a preset condition; backuping, by to the first system platform, the file for the second system platform; and switching to the second state, and continuing, by the second system platform, the presentation of the file based on the backup file. With the portable terminal of hybrid system architecture according to embodiments of the present invention, if the system state is switched while a file is being played, the switched-to system can continue presenting the file based on the backup file, according to the presentation progress before the system switching. In this way, it is possible to achieve a seamless presentation of the file before and after the switching, and thus improve user's experience.

    • Embodiments of the present invention provide a data transmission method and an electronic device. A first electronic device has a display unit and a second electronic device has a processing unit. The first electronic device and the second electronic device communicate data with each other wirelessly. The first electronic device receives data transmitted from the second electronic device for displaying on the display unit. The display unit of the first electronic device displays at a first display frame rate a data transmitted from the second electronic device in a first mode. The first electronic device transmits, upon detecting a first trigger event, information associated with the first trigger event to the second electronic device. The first electronic device receives and displays a data transmitted from the second electronic device in a second mode. These two electronic devices can be automatically switched between the two display frame rates and the two modes in response to the first trigger event. One of the first and second display frame rates has a lower power consumption than the other. Therefore, the power consumptions of the first and second electronic devices can be reduced.
