摘要： The present invention relates to a switch for sorting, deflecting, and supplying ferromagnetic elements. Here, the switch comprises at least two electromagnets, which are embodied curved or circular. The magnets may be installed fixed in the switch, on the one hand, or supported on an axis, on the other hand. The ferromagnetic elements are moved by a conveying element through the switches. Advantageously the switch can also be used to control bobbins in a braiding machine. Here, the bobbin can be transferred to another impeller. This way new options are generated with regard to flexibility of braids. Further, this invention offers a considerable reduction of braiding time in case of complex braids.

摘要： A system and a method for separating and recycling magnets made from rare earth elements from an article of manufacture used an alignment device to property position the rare earth magnet for processing. Once proper alignment is made, a separating device removes the magnet and a portion of the article. A heating device demagnetizes the magnets and vibration causes the magnets to separate from the portion of the article. Electromagnets remove the portion of the article and the rare earth magnets pass through for reclamation.

摘要： A device for separating weakly magnetic first particles, for example hematite particles, from mixture (912) comprising the first particles (913) and less magnetic second particles (914) is presented. The device comprises first magnetizing equipment (901) for producing magnetic field and for moving the mixture so that mutually opposite polarity portions (N, S) of the magnetic field sweep the mixture in a sweeping direction and thereby deflect the direction of movement of the first particles towards the sweeping direction and away from the direction of movement of the second particles. The device comprises also a supply equipment (932) for supplying the mixture to the carrier equipment with the aid of gravitation and a second magnetizing equipment (931) connected to a feed box (920) for producing second magnetic field for deflecting a direction of movement of the first particles differently than a direction of movement of the second particles when the mixture is moved by the gravitation towards the carrier equipment so as to generate, to the mixture arriving at the carrier equipment, a concentration gradient of the first particles. The pre-concentration of the first particles simplifies their separation form the mixture.

摘要： A particle separator is provided that separates small particulate from large particulate from an intermixed material feed. The separator finds particular utility in the field of separation of thermoplastic regrind particulate from intermixed debris which constitutes a smaller particulate relative to the thermoplastic regrind. Embodiments of the separator use a rotary shaft for mounting an spiral blade fed by a material feeder bin that meters material into the separator. The spiral blade is configured so that the material moves along a peripheral mesh screen to separate any smaller particulate that passes through the mesh screen leaving the large particulate to traverse though the separator, while small particulate is sieved therefrom the surrounding mesh and into a separate collection stream. The spiral blade is mounted to a central magnetic axis to achieve removal of unwanted foreign spurious metal shavings or particulate that may be introduced to molding materials due to mechanical wear of the processing machinery.
