摘要： A gate latch including a bolt portion, a sleeve portion and a channel bolt. The sleeve portion is mounted on a generally U-shaped clamp assembly that is adapted to fit around tubular gate members. The sleeve portion further includes a receiving notch and a padlock portion. The padlock portion is adapted to receive a standard padlock and to surround the shackle of the padlock so as to deter attempts to attack the shackle with cutting tools. The bolt portion includes a C-shaped channel adapted to be secured around tubular gate members and a sleeve in which the channel bolt slides. The channel bolt generally includes an elongate channel, an adjustable stop, a dead stop, a handle and a locking notch.

摘要： A key operated latch includes a housing which supports a lock plug, a motion control sleeve, and a sleeve-like cam therein. The cam rotates with the lock plug, while the motion control sleeve is stationary. The cam has at least one cam slot, and the motion control sleeve has at least one motion control slot. A shaft extends outward from the housing and has at least one projection which is engaged with both the cam slot and the motion control slot. The cam slot and the motion control slot are configured such that rotation of the lock plug imparts a sequence of rotational and axial movements to the shaft. A latching member attached to the shaft, moves between a latched position and an unlatched position in a sequence of axial and rotational motions in order to selectively secure a door, panel, or the like in the closed position. Also disclosed are additional embodiments that incorporate a wing knob or that have a lock plug sleeve and a motion control sleeve that are combined into a single part of one-piece construction. In one of the embodiments having a wing knob the wing knob freewheels without opening the latch when the lock plug is in the locked configuration.

摘要： The invention concerns a lock for doors or windows, with two latches each pivoting about a pivot pin being provided in the one component and of which the mutually facing ends in the locked position engage in mutually opposite directions an undercut surface of a locking bolt mounted on the other component, this locking bolt cross-sectionally being a wedge-shaped or conical tip by means of which the two latches can be forced apart against the opposing force of a spring, this lock being designed so that unauthorized forcible opening in the absence of a key is at least made appreciably more difficult.The invention calls for the two latches being translationally mobile sliders located in one plane and of which the pivot pins are mounted approximately at the longitudinal center of the particular latch, the outer surfaces of the latches on the sides away from the locking bolt being a distance away from an inside housing wall of the lock, and a lock block displaceable along the latches each being mounted in the channel so formed, where this lock block has a length which is less than the distance between each pivot pin and the latch end pointing toward the center, and where for the locked position, the lock blocks are located in the area of the outwardly pointing latch ends.
