    • A dual key bi-step lock having a shell and a cylindrical plug in the shell. The plug has a primary keyway and a secondary keyway and at least one set of primary pin stack and at least one set of secondary pin stack between the shell and the plug, respectively coupling with the primary and the secondary keys. a longitudinal stage is formed on a cylindrical surface of the plug. An involute side face extending from the stage to the cylindrical surface of the plug. The primary key is able to dive the plug to a position of first step open at which the stage is stopped by the key pin of the secondary pin stack. The secondary pin stack is unlocked by the secondary key and the plug is able to be further driven to a position of second step open by the primary and the secondary keys from the first step open.

    • A lock and key mechanism reduces exposure to lock picking by including an extension into a key slot to receive and conceal tapered end portions of key pins. The only portions of key pins exposed in a key slot are cylindrical portions that are difficult to move from a resting position. A key includes a beveled leading edge and a spring-loaded pin activation element at the leading edge of the key. As the key is inserted into the key slot, the spring-loaded pin activation element is compressed to permit entry into the key slot. As the pin activation element reaches a pin, an aperture in the extension allows the spring-loaded pin activation element to move toward the key pin and move the key pin from its resting position. In this activated position, the tapered end portion of the key pin is exposed for further activation by the beveled leading edge of the key. The process is repeated until the pin activation element engages and activates each successive key pin and allows full insertion of the key.

    • A lock core reinforced structure device with two different metallic parts comprises a lock sleeve, a revolver and a gate. The lock sleeve provides disposition and combination of the revolver and includes some pin holes providing disposition of upper pinballs, springs and a stop pin. The revolver includes a key channel for insertion of a key and some pin holes providing disposition of lower pinballs. Additionally, the main body of the revolver is made of two different metallic materials combined together, where the front part of it is made of easily machined cast iron or copper and the rear part of it is made of steel material or heat treatment reinforced steel which has more structure strength. Furthermore, a gate room is formed beside an open end of the key channel and provides disposition of a gate and a spring, which is sealed and fixed by a keyhole cover. The gate is constantly pushed by the spring and moves upward to seal the open end of the key channel.
